OK, maybe its the drugs talking, but I AM CONFUSED! You almost got splatted by a tree. You just got the scratches from the branches on the car. Hmmmm, Bets didn't mention how KICK ASS the skydive was though!!! Thanks you guys for all the kind words and thoughts (except Chuckie.......I wanna be ME not YOU! ) The wonderful people out of town took good care of me and I am back home resting and waiting for the swelling to go down enough for surgery. Doc says will need screws to the tibia and a plate and screws to the fibula....airport security should be much more fun now!!! But, alas, until then I get to look at my HOT DAMN PINK cast WOOHOOO!!!! Thanks again everyone!! Ill be back in the air in no time! Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...

If this helps any, this week 3 skydivers fly United Airlines. The 2 with rigs in their gear bags as carry ons, no problemo at all. The one who walked around with it on his back got the hassle. As an aside, through all the hassle with the rig as a carry on, no one ever noticed the bright orange hook knife attached to the leg strap Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...

You guys are assuming the pilots could see the ground! Guess you didnt think about the thick cloud layer and lots of thunderstorms. Check the weather for that day. I think there may be a lot you don't know about the circumstances, and wouldn't you appreciate it if someone had given you the benefit of the doubt when you were in question over something? Heres the scoop.... Johnston County not dry, not sure about liquor by the drink or not I will check this weekend ABC stores (local liquor stores) have liquor only, some mixers, but mostly the hard stuff (and liquers) Convenience stores LOTSA COLD BEER Grocery stores warm and cold beer Some even have big selection of microbrews Oh the biggie.....NO OPEN CONTAINERS in your vehicle, none, nada, zip, no one, not even passengers. If you got em, trunk is only legal place. Hope this helps some! I'm not stubborn, I'm high-spirited!
