I definately dont think I am injury proof...far from it....maybe even to the other extreme injury prone. I dont think I deserved t be injured because I made a jump at another DZ. I stood just as much a risk of the same injury at their dz if not more (youve seen the landing area). Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...

No worries I was just venting (as my disclaimer said) after being floored someone would have the balls to tell me breaking my ankle was my price to pay for jumping at another dz. Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...

Suz I agree with you we are all human, we all breathe the same air, etc, etc, My post was directed to those with the attitude of they are better than others. They dont understand we are all the same. It was an attempt at a reality check - you think you are better for whatever irrational reason, well you arent there is always someone better at it (being whatever it was they thought they were better at). I have never treated anyone better or worse than anyone else at the dz or otherwise. I just needed to vent because I didnt appreciate being looked down on and chided at by self proclaimed skygods. Just reinforces why I jumped elsewhere to begin with! Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...

Well yes there are steps at the front, very little ones. What to do stand on bad ankle and tweak down on good leg or stand on good leg and land on bad one? That was just the icing on the cake thats all. Im not mad at the DZOs at all. I am furious with the people that had that attitude with me. Yes they were instructors at the DZ. One of which was the person that carried the ladder away into the hangar while i was floppin about to get out. I was just venting my anger and frustration. Well, I was very composed when this happened and was very nice back to them, maybe thats why I am so angry now I shoulda said what I was thinking! Just as another tidbit, I paid the price of a jump ticket to ride right seat on the sunset load...when we landed I had to jump out of the back of the otter with my bad ankle cause they had already put up all the ladders. How nice eh? Edited cause I cant spell when Im mad Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...

I was jumping there but because of all the dz politics going on I started jumping elsewhere and I got injured elsewhere. They blamed the injury on me jumping at another dz, then attacked my skills, then attacked me personally. Yeah Id jump there again NOT! Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...

Sorry guys but I need to rant, Ive spent the whole 2hours back from the dz fuming, but here goes, and for those of you that are offended, GOOD! What makes you better What makes you better than everyone else? Hmm? Is it your body, your style, your ability, your accomplishments? What is it that makes you so much better than everyone around you? Figured it out yet? Well ponder this...no matter what it is, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE OUT THERE BETTER THAN YOU!!!! You may have not met them or heard of them, but I assure you wholeheartedly they do exist and always will. And as an aside, for those of you, and you know who you are, who said "thats what you get for not jumping here" id rather go in at a better dz than have a great jump around cocky skygod assholes like yourself! There all better now thanks! Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...
