The rest of the world has lost faith in not only the currency, but the economy. A severe recession is likely; a sharp reduction of American material standards is inevitable. The big question is not whether the US economy will crash, but whether the Chinese bubble will also burst. The company with the largest capitalization in the world is PetroChina. Their revenue, however, is not in the top fifty companies in the world.

Thompson made a point of showing himself with Reagan. Reagan managed to appeal to the religious right, but didn't go out of his way to invoke God, abortion or prayer in schools (the hot button of the day). He left that to his promoters. His comments that our rights come from God tend to a position that there can be no discussion about which rights we have; I don't find that helpful at all. Intransigence is not leadership.

There is no duty coming from US to Canada. There is duty coming from EU to Canada. The GST applies in either case.

I got a warning a couple of years ago for doing 142Km/hr in a 90 zone,...from a FEDERALE. True story. I passed him going the other way. It took him a while to get turned around on the narrow road and then he had to follow me for a while until I could find a place to pull over. I was thinking of 1000 pesos as an opening offer. Then he showed me the radar gun and I thought "maybe 2000 pesos." The guy said "Please drive slower on our highways" and let me go; it still just seems like a dream. Maybe he was a djin.

In the past it seems there have been more sitting or former governors in the race than this year. Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter and Nixon were in State house somewhere prior to the White house. I wonder why none this year.

I am sure the law doesn't read that way; whether it should is another story. Those who paid for the frequencies would argue that they paid for them at auction and you don't own the em frequencies passing through your property any more than you own the airspace above it. If a theatre owner wants to build with lead walls that is their business. For the record I think a commuter train is a perfectly acceptable place to be on the phone. I don't find a person talking loudly on the phone any more annoying that that same person talking loudly to their friend. -
There is no evidence that there is a causal relationship between prohibition and horticultural results. The tobacco industry proceeded in the same fashion during roughly the same time frame (actually the MJ industry appears to have mimicked the Tobacco industry's success) in the absence of prohibition. The science was largely underwritten by the Department of Agriculture.

I had a ride on a Strong master 425R at pretty close to or maybe slightly over 500lbs. It was a hard landing but not anything serious. I am more afraid of a high speed opening at high weight than the landing. My opening was low-speed.
