It makes one wonder why the Egyptians don't trust their neighbors in Gaza. Lots of Israel-bashers like to ignore the fact that the embargo of Gaza was being run by BOTH Israel AND Egypt. And as to you calling the inhabitants of Gaza "neighbors" of Egypt, well, techinicaly if the Gaza strip doesn't belong to Israel, then it belongs to Egypt since they occupied it after the 1948-49 War. If he means the embargo then he is probably referring to the Egyptians opening (or loosening their grip on) the flow of items into and out of Gaza along their border. I don't understand the use of the word siege here. The IDF could clear out all of Gaza and a few days. They would just have to be as bloodthirsty as DD and Darius and some others claim they are. Nope, US citizens shouldn't ever be (can't be?) deported from the US. Politicians like Congressman Duncan D. Hunter are no better than politicians who want to ignore other parts of the constitution. He is either ignorant of what the constitution and amendments say, an all too common condition of politicians, or he is knowingly and willfully breaking his oath to support and defend. As to where little C goes, that is up to his/her parents. Oh, I know what rocks can do. I had the unfortunate experience of rendering first aid to a child who was struck in the head by a rock thrown by his friend. They were not using pebbles. The rock was only the size of my fist, but the injured boy was med-evac-ed out and they don't know if he was going to live, let alone walk or think normally. I've also seen the corpse of a man struck over the head with a chunk of concrete. OK, so guy A gets girl B pregnant in their home country. They cross a US border illegally and have the child. Child C is now a US citizen. A, B, and little citizen C run into Officer VonNovak. So, does that mean you think Israel should completely abandon the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, and East Jerusalem? If so, shouldn't the land go back to the countries in possession of that land before they attacked Israel and lost? Why do you support a new country being created? Besides, if this new country you propose does come to be, when they attack Israel, they'll just be occupied again and we'll be right back where we started. Or do you think HAMAS will just up and change it's mind about annihilating Israel and go about existing as a peaceful neighbor. I was wondering what folks thought. Since some posters are unwilling to answer the question outright, I thought I'd offer an anonymous option. This isn't about AZ's new law or efforts to locate or prevent illegal immigration, just about what should be done when they are encountered by law enforcement. The funny thing is that (in the USA) a convicted felon cannot be prosecuted under a "failing to register" charge. Because registering a weapon they are banned from possessing would qualify as being ompelled to give evidence of one's guilt, convicted felons are the only people not required to register their guns. They can be charged under felon in possession of a firearm charges, but those work whether there is a registry or not. So why would anyone want a registry. Please provide a link to a single post where I have denied the Supreme Court's jurisdiction over the meaning of the Constitution. In this post you state that a person should have "rights by default", contrary to what the supreme court said. Then anytime someone disagrees with the SCOTUS about a particular facet of firearms law or other right you don't care for, you state that the issue is settled by SCOTUS and folks should shut up. Funny how when they limit rights you don't like, you say that they are the final authority, but when they limit rights you don't like, they are a bunch of political cronies who wouldn't know juris prudence from stare decisis. So which is it? As to felons owning firearms, no I don't think that should be allowed. I recognize the importance of individual rights and I recognize that rights have limits.
