That's why a lot of physicians in Arkansas won't take Medicaid....but some do. We have a kind of neat program in Arkansas that provides insurance for children from families whose incomes are above poverty level, but for whom paying for insurance is just not do-able....ArKidsFirst. Our state being so poor, I'd bet that there's almost as many kids with this insurance as without. It's a Medicaid program. Physicians are really good about taking ArKidsFirst while they're not as good about taking Medicaid. In my mind it has to do with how they see kids vs. adults who don't have resources. (I'm thinking it would be best to still sell it but with a warning i.e. "this meat may be tainted and must be cooked until well done") I bet an amazing number of people would buy that beef too, considering it a bargain...lol. There's something to be said for raising your own. But that's probably easier here, where you can buy a lot of land for next to nothing, than in most places. Maybe the guy who hates tech-ignorant people can help...lol So I got this new Mac Book. Not sure I like it, but that's beside the point. BUT I can't get my bank's website! I can get everything else, but when I go to THAT website, I get a message about "being timed out" or needing to refresh my browser. ??? It's almost like it keeps going to that message because the site was down the first time I tried to access it....and now I keep getting that same page???? Anybody have any ideas how to fix it? How does denying guns to the insane violate anyone's rights? You're always talking about "madmen" and "the insane." WHO, exactly, are you talking about??? What qualifies a person to a part of one of these groups. Is it anyone with a DSM IV Diagnosis??? Or a person who is imminently threatening harm to himself or others??? Or anyone who has done so in the past??? Or a person with a thought disorder that affects his/her reality testing???? Furthermore, since I find your credibility as a doctor, suspect, I would like to read how we now need B-12, that it can't come from other sources and how our predecoessors lived w/o it. Educate yourself just a little bit and I think you'll understand more about vitamin B12. Meat, milk, eggs, supplements. You don't HAVE to eat the animal. You can raise chickens....or impregnate animals in order to get their milk. Or go to the drug store. Either way...you HAVE to have it. Period. You cannot live without it. Design does equal function. I agree. We're not designed to eat ONLY meat or even PREDOMINATELY meat (for the kajillionth time). We are designed to eat some meat. We function with it.
