  1. Someone else shares my views on Iraq and Israel and US forigen policy _______________________________________________ Yeah, as usual everything wrong with the world is Bush's fault (if you're a European socialist or a third world thug).
  2. I dont want to offend too many religous people, but these people are fucking crazy. ____________________________________________ Not really any more crazy than leaping out of airplanes, IMO.
  3. My container is a Javelin J2, and my wife's is a J3. I've put both a 150 and a 170 in both of them, and I can hardly tell the difference. If I'm packing sloppy, cramming the 170 into the J2 can be a bit of a challenge, but not too bad.
  4. "Who cares? Kerry's wife isn't running for office." Not yet, anyway.
  5. Hey, I'm 40 and me and the old geezers still dust off our instruments every now and again for a jam. We may be old but we ain't dead! Rock on old man! Watchtower website
  6. 1. people who throw their cigarette butts out the car window 2. people who park in handicapped spaces who have no business there 3. people who use their dead parent/uncle or whoevers' handicapped placard
  7. "Abortion, whether right or wrong, is a choice. If my girlfriend got pregnant, I would never want her to do that, but that doesn't mean I have any right to tell other people not to do it. " Well than, does anyone or any society have the right to tell anyone else what to do, ever? Suppose killing babies under 6 months, or babies that were deemed "defective" were legal. Would it still be just a "choice"? It seems like most people want to play both sides on this issue, e.g. : "I would never do it, but I won't stop anyone else from doing it". Anyone willing to take a stand for the unborn is an "extremist". I'm not religious, but I oppose abortion on the grounds that the systematic destruction of the most innocent life there is, is about as barbaric as a society can get. However, civilized societies seem to have embraced that the idea that the value of convenience is more important than the value of giving the unborn a chance at life. I guess that's the right of each society to decide. It just seems kind of sick that we are so willing to gloss over what abortion is, which is the destruction of an unborn child. Instead, we come up with positive buzzwords to alleviate our guilt, such as "reproductive rights" and "pro-choice". The fact is, we offer more protections to unborn animals. Rant over.
  8. "These people are just like the friggin' Taliban" This is true - they do somewhat resemble the Taliban. So do the militant "pro-choice" crowd. A little sanity on both sides would be nice.
  9. My wife has a Sabre 150 and I've jumped it a few times. It opens a little quicker than my Spectre, but nothing to really complain about. I love the way it flies.
  10. Dude, I have my rig sitting next to my desk right now. As soon as the clock hits 12:00, I'm outta here to go jump at YOUR dropzone. Come on out! Weather's supposed to be pretty decent.
  11. >If you forge it you are lying. That makes you a liar. Simple. How else >could you look at it? I know several people who sign waivers even though they don't agree with them (i.e. they would still sue.) They manage to convince themselves that they aren't lying as well. So apparently it's possible. Good point. In fact, this mindset seems to be a way of life for a lot of people.
  12. The medal is cool. Even more cool are the freebie jump tix we got in the giveaway!
  13. Do you really want to be in the "loser" picture? Oh well, it was fun anyway.
  14. "He's a zealot, blinded by his dogma." Looked in the mirror lately?

  16. Hey, what's Zoe doing in that picture. She didn't jump on Saturday.
  17. "Qualified: To be a constitution-trampling religious zealot nutjob-yes Attorney General-no." Looks like your freedom of speech is intact. Or are you holding something back 'cause you're skeered of persecution?
  18. I've donated stuff a bunch of times, and they usually just give you a standard form, and let you fill out the value. I always make a list of the stuff on the back just in case I get audited.
  19. I was in your part of the world on Saturday and Sunday and was going to try to get in a jump, but no way with that wind! Pretty cool video though.
  20. I'm voting Bush, and I think he'll win. I only agree with him about half the time, but I'll take him over Kerry any day. I think the more people see of Kerry, the less they'll like him.
  21. Got all of mine (2) yanked a couple of years ago - it was no problem, didn't even use the vicodin. Was loopy for a few hours though.
  22. Awesome pics Douva. By the way, was this the McNasty load?
  23. Practically anything by Kurt Vonnegut, but especially: Cat's Cradle Slaughterhouse 5 Breakfast of Champions
