  1. Yes!! But I'm not allowed to travel for the forseeable future - not even to CA to visit Shawn's family for the holiday Make a jump or 10 for me! Miss you, have fun! Jen Arianna Frances
  2. actually - I just remember. When I tried 3 years ago they were different paper IDs - the new ones should work out fine. We used Shawn's to rent a car to drive to KY one time. We used Hertz and it worked out fine. DOn't rent from the airport - you'll pay tons in taxes. Jen Arianna Frances
  3. Not in RI, at least not when I tried 3 years ago Can you get a state issued ID sooner than the DMV will issue a license? Where ya going? Jen Arianna Frances

  5. while I don't agree that modeling is anywhere near as hard as even being an elementary school teacher let alone a doctor... I wouldn't want to live my life under a microscope and have everything I ate/wore/did watched by my agent and the media and have that be the only way I make a living... Jen Arianna Frances

    Coke Blak

The worst part is that they buy those mixes for like $5 per ccontainer - which makes like 1000 glasses of soda that they sell for $2/ea. Jen Arianna Frances

You can pass on the sugar (I aad splenda when I need to use sugar), but honey is a fantastic alternative if you need to sweeten tea. I find many people who drink tea only on occassion or are just starting out need to go the 'milk and sugar' route to get 'used' to drinking tea. Honey has great health benefits! http://www.newstarget.com/009237.html Jen Arianna Frances

Ah, a subject I can relate to! I've been drinking tea since, well, as long as I can remember - its a passion of mine. Stash Premium brand is a very high quality tea you can find in most stores. I drink their decaf double spice chai every day and have just about every other flavor they offer, they're all fabulous. To get the true benefit from tea, making it from straight tea leaves is best. I buy mine from the UK direct, but I suppose if you look hard enough you can find them in the US also. English Tea Jen Arianna Frances
  12. I second this - my aunt was out of work for months - took this seasonal job at UPS and was hired on full time. They have great benefits and she loves her job (and she's not the um...motivated type, so if she loves it, thats saying something!). Jen Arianna Frances
  13. Was this supposed to be funny? Truely pathetic, I doubt you'll find anyone, even your fellow brits, really supporting your behavior or brand of humor here... Jen Arianna Frances

  18. Well, I give gifts, but not to myself I guess. We typically sponsor a family at my work and my husband and I go crazy shopping in the toy department the day after thanksgiving for kids at an orphanage in Boston - typically spending little money and leaving with BAGS and BAGS of stuff - its great. This year however we're not doing the orphanage - instead we're buying coats and sweaters for the elderly at a local shelter. But I guess that still counts as giving gifts - since we both work we just don't have time to donate anything else than material posessions. Sadly, its the only time of year people seem to do this Jen Arianna Frances
  19. Unfortunately its ridiculously expensive this time of year We got to VT often as we really love it up there, but avoid it like the plague in the winter. In the summer I can stay at the Marriott in Burlington for $50/night - in the winter that jumps to almost $200. My recommendation would be to stay outside of Burlington itself. Where are you going? Rutland (about an hour south) has OKEMO and other resorts and it really is a ski town but real nice. They have tons of hotels to choose from, but with the same pricing problem. Best of luck! You'll have a blast, its really beautiful up there

  21. I have a wings - had a new (25 jumps) sabre2 190 in it (now with 100 additional jumps on it). The container fits a 190 - and its a bitch to pack because its SO tight in the container. If I understand correctly there aren't many packers in Europe - so you better get real good at packing if you plan on getting something bigger than the container. Oh ya, and don't plan on doing many jumps a day. If I were you, because the frustration is just not worth it, I'd alter your order to fit your canopy. Jen Arianna Frances
  22. My cable company has never let me down - been with them for 7 years now. I hope cable gets to those little areas of the country soon so people can really see how bad AOL is. My grandmother on the other hand has AOL and is constantly calling me asking why her internet won't work... granted, she's an 81 year old woman with limited experience with computers, but her concerns are valid. For living in the boston area (an obvious major metropolis) she has limited availability for dial-up numbers, and it astounds me that she pays more than $20 for dial up when I pay $30 for my cable. 24. But let's not forget that us skydivers are supposed to 'save' SI. This thread may be intended to help you - but you can start by not insulting people... Really - if this is the only way you can think to show a tight community - you need to get out more. This isn't your board and you don't own any thread on here - people can post what they want, included very well needed criticism. Your game isn't all that - accept it. Jen Arianna Frances
