My sentiments entirely..... Two great FF schools.....means everyone has access to a great choice....lets not keep going around in circles disputing each others personal choices... Live an let live.... If only most dropzones had the problem of 'multiple' FF schools on the DZ.....then the world ( at least the FF world) would be a better place....

Awesome DZ...very friendly people....I rented a trailor on the DZ, and it was perfect for price... clean , functional and close to manifest! Gear shops, suit factory and rigging services on site....very nice Great food available all day and nice bar/events in the evening.. Chilled , laid back attitude but always felt safe here. Had excellent freefly coaching off Pip Redvers (Total Body Pilot School)....excellent coaching, everything I needed, cant fault him for his ability , coaching and price....highly recommended. Clean, tidy DZ ....its obviously very well loved....will definately return.

hmm...seems you have a problem with accepting your view might not be the 'right' one... Kinda works against what you express in you profile as your interests (..."constantly improving..")... you might want to think about that one.. I've expressed my view.....pointless to continue unless you have something factual or worthy to contribute Nice one PJC...congrats !!

Hardly a worthy comment .... But if you require more explanation ...I'll oblige. I received some coaching off Pip last year....I learned alot in a short space of time. Two of my friends received coaching from ECFF.....no real complaints....but they also received coaching off Pip.....they both commented that they felt they were given more time , and progressed more when with Pip. I watched all of their coaching videos and I saw why they felt that way... I'm not trying to 'big up' anyone or 'diss' anyone...I'm talking from my and friends experiences..... Sometimes the best 'flyers' are not the best 'coaches' and vice versa.....I think alot of people forget that I should probably add that all of us were at a pretty basic level of head down freeflying when being coached....... I like both schools , they are both great...I was just contributing to the thread

so does the price of jumping with FLB go up as the demand for flying with FLB goes up.....? And how often are the exits delayed....?

Total Body Pilot ...school on the same DZ ( Pip Redvers) is just as cool... Pip has a very different style to East Coast Freefly but I ( and a couple of friends) found it more effective for personal progression ....just our opinion ( and we jumped with both schools) For load organising......for sure EC FF rocked... 2 FF schools on the same DZ....never a bad thing !

Did that eagle have a phoenix fly logo on its tail..?? .....Recently ....on a comfortable canopy ride back to the landing area after jumping a big wall in Europe.....I had an eagle come very close to the below and right of me....it stayed there for a while, matching my heading , occasionally looking over its shoulder at me.... That was a truly magnificent feeling....even if it was saying "fuck off , this is my playground not yours ! "

Right there......is the problem Overcomplication....something 'else' to remember that if not remembered could kill you. #94 on the List is a recent example....BSBD http://hometown.aol.com/base194/myhomepage/base_fatality_list

This video....by BASE864 , although POV ,shows the vented canopy is 'flying' before the unvented canopy http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=1850&string=vented

Any more pics or video you would care to share...? Looks like a pretty unique event !

You dont need weights at all to start freeflying.... The speed range in freeflying is much more 'dynamic' than it is flatflying....so just get coaching and learn how to control your fall rate and stability during the top and bottom ends of your fall rate .... safely There are lots of ways to speed up...and slow down freeflying....using your body, not weights

I remember watching Costyn doing a funny walk on jump run to make sure his GPS unit was as close to and as high as possible to every window on his way to exit the aircraft...

Nice work....seeing the data real time too is very nice !

Never !.....

How safe is it to do that..? Not judging at all ...just curious so just asking
-
You mean this one..? http://www.bpa.org.uk/skydive/pages/articles/feb06/fallratecontrollow.pdf I think the large picture with the two girls is purely just a fun picture of two freeflyers having a laugh. Louis' (the Coach) pictures are more illustrative for the subject in question ( head up fall rate control) Dont you think...?

Then you might be famous....sorry infamous... It took me some time to get around to it....but the latest 'Mad Dog Production 2006' ....is done.

Seeing as that was one of the only parts of your post that seemed to make any sense......I just thought I'd point it out .... You even managed to spell 7 words in a row right doing it as well.....bravo!...

With the comments he made....it doesnt show

To answer your question I have no BASE jumps. But I look here to gain knowledge. However the judgement you displayed whilst skydiving ( in the incident you mentioned) and your online 'demeanour' would not change my view of your ability to offer advice. Also.....if you didnt have the ratings you suggest on your profile.....why did you put them on /select 'yes' in the first place....? And if you were dishonest then....why would anyone trust any thing else you have said/suggested..?? I disagree..... I like to ask questions..... ...Now as this thread has been taken wildly sideways with your crap and my response...I'll politely step back into the shadows and let it get back on course. I suggest you do the same.

I wasnt giving advice......I was commenting on your ability to do so given the information you gave freely. Personally , even with my low jump numbers and very limited experience skydiving......I know enough, not to take the advice of someone skydiving who chooses:- 1. Not to check their canopy is controllable 2. Not to unstow their control lines ...Both below 401ft I merely highlighted that point. Even if you do have 6000 jumps and every skydiving/rigging rating that is available..... (note to self.....read profile of suspected Trolls before dignifying a response)

Hardly a great track record in order to give everyone else here advice , no offence
