Well, it's only been 3 months, but I finally found time to get the write-up for the boogie on Relative Workshops "On the Road" Section. I also have a few pictures up but need help identifying some of the names of the people in the pictures. Any help would be appreciated. You can see the page at http://www.relativeworkshop.com/Boogies/031606.htm Thanks in advance for the help. Mark Klingelhoefer

Control Tower possibly going up in DeLand

I'm just wondering if, come the next election, the skydiving industry can show how big we are in town and vote the mayor and his cronies out of office. Mark Klingelhoefer edited for spellcheck (it's early) -

I've just spoke to Pablo in our rigging loft and Mike has been approved for skyhook modifications. I apologize for leaving him off the list. Mark Klingelhoefer

We currently have 4 locations for Sport Skyhook Retrofits. Two of these are outside of the USA. They can be done are Relative Workshop in Florida, Paraconcepts in Chicago, Fallschirmdepot in Germany, and Air Paradive in Israel. Parachutes Australia can do the modifications on Sigma's but not sport rigs. We are working on getting more authorized centers around the world, but as of right now these are the only locations where the modification is available. The current prices for the Skyook modification to any Vector 3 is $195 if the rig currently has an RSL, and $295 if the RSL needs to be added to the rig. If you have any questions, give me a call. Mark Klingelhoefer Spare Parts Sales Relative Workshop 386-736-7589

Chris, Thanks for putting on a FANTASTIC event. Thanks for letting us set up a booth and I really love the way the raffle was run. I think the two RWS certificates will be cashed in this week. Thanks for all the help this weekend and I would like to reserve a slot for next year. Thanks Again, Mark Klingelhoefer Relative Workshop

If you are planning to go to Titusville (Which I recomend) I'd call first to make sure you'll be able tot get in the air, but if you go there, the family can go over and do the NASA tour while you are jumping the fastest jump plane in the country. 15,000 ft in 7-8 minutes. You make the minimum wage for a job that takes that amount of skill. I don't tip at McDonalds, and ocationally they need to walk your order out to your car. Servers make less than you make, so what you are saying is you should be paid more for what you do than the servers?

WOW! Responses to BOD notes posting

If the USPA actually cares about what skydives have to say, they would pay attention to sites like DZ.com. Does their website get more hits that this one? Which do they think skydivers frequent? If they cared what we thought, they would go to where we are rather than making us come to them. -
I'm not a fan of ice dancing or figure skating, but I got into curling this year. And they do have dumb sports in the summer olympics. Dancing around with a ball or a stick with ribbon attached to it, syncro swimming...... Mark Klingelhoefer
