Quote I am up for a drive and it looks as if Kasnas skydiver could pick me up on his way south as well.. But seriously I am sorry to hear about this whole deal and our rosa is one strong girl. My positive thoughts for you are all I can provide at this time Rosa. If the local jumpers could find out when the sicko has to appear in court for sentencing and give the guy the "look" maybe he & the judge will get the message or at the least they'll know what the sicko looks like. R.I.P. -
2 mile radius? That would be about 6 zip codes and about a half million people. We lived just a couple of miles from the Green river murderer's feeding/dumping grounds and residence. Never was concerned, the guy was into prostitute's hanging out on the strip. Teenagers and car theft/breakin's happen everywhere except where the cops outnumber the bad people. Random drive by's are bad news but you should be able to tell by the hood. Lot's of holes in the stop signs is a indicator. so if people looking ovver their shoulder as you drive by. We have a two dog alarm system. R.I.P.

did you just call me ma'am, come on now! none of that!!! Sorry for the sp error Sir I mean Ma'am. Have to remind myself to go dumpster diving for smelly coastie cloth's after your ship returns to port. Does your ship get a Sticker on it's bow/stack for a 3 ton bust? Or is this just another day at the office

Glad they caught the "poor misunderstood drunk" who was "probably abused as a child". My guess is that this is the first time he got caught so he has no prior's. This is all SOP for the legal system & this sicko will reoffend. His wife didn't leave him just because this was the first time. With the guilty plea stay on his record forever as a sexual assualt? will he be required to register for the rest of his life as a registered sex offender? Being a convicted sexual offender and being required to register with the local police whenever he changes his address is like wearing a big scarlet letter on his fore head. When ever he moves the police in Wa state have to notify his new neighbor's. Maybe you can get hold of a rape crisis counsoler in florida, call fla cops or hospital for advice. The guy got a job or money is he represented by his own attorney? The civil route will only work if he got anything any P.I. can do a computer check with DOB SS# and name. The Fla asst state attorney is sending you a message by being very difficult to get hold of, plus you j]have a challenge with the 3 hr time change. Have you had a chance to talk to the Fla cops about any similer unsolved cases in the same area you were attacked. Sorry I'm not a lawyer but we've all seen this happen to often. The legal system isn't always fair to both parties, and a plea bargin is the only thing that keeps the "wheels of justice moving". R.I.P.[email] -
Sorry Mam laughing you ass off won't work, my dog is still getting a hit off you butt. As for the uniforms oh man the dogs will go nuts. Stuff happens and the dogs don't lie. Cavity search Has your "company" considered treating this stuff like a "Hazmat" situation maybe a level C. Wear disposable clothing and a respirator after leaving the exclusion zone enter the decon area get rid of all the level c stuff and take a shower befor you contaminate your clothing and the rest of the ship. It could even be counted as Hazmat training. It would be interesting to see if there were elevated levels of THC in urine samples after being that close to so much stuff. "Hears a cup, fill it to the line now, no more, no less." Sorry you failed you, you work for who and did what Please follow us. Have you noticed a increased consumption of sweets after your crew makes a major score. Thank you for your efforts on fighting the war against terrorisim and keeping our country safe R.I.P.

Was it?? My understanding is that it's been pretty consistent over the years See www.skydivenet.com/fatalities/fatalities_history.html The bars are the fatality count, and the blue dots and line are the rate per 1000 skydivers. The actual fatality count stayed pretty constant, but the number of active skydivers increased by 3x over the last 20 years. John Thanks for charting the info that you compilied but your showing the chart to a bunch of old farts that were there, read the accident reports in parachutist and learned from these numbers. IMO without a breakdown of the cause of the fatilities and the number of active jumpers there a lot left unexplained due to no fault of your own. What caused the "significant reduction in fatalities" from 1981 to 1982? Thats a steep slope of a 60% reduction in fatalities. The 300 % increase in the number of "active skydiver's" also needs to be defined. Is a Tandem a active skydiver? Etc. IMO The problem with trying to collect data on the sport Fatalities and Active skydivers is your relying on a special interest group for the data. Now that we have folks that can actually make a living skydiving & the teams some of them are cranking out 1000 jumps/year how is this reflected in the numbers on the chart? 2003 sounds like a outstanding year fatility wise but how many jumps were made in 2003 vs 2002. Was one yr safer than another or were there less jumps being made? I'm not picking on you chart it was based on the information you were able to collect. USPA has the actual numbers, including definations. With out meaningfull data it's he said she said. I'll stick with my good old boy average of 30 fatalities/yr over the last 30 yr's and leave it at that. R.I.P.

Your sitting on 3 tons of that stuff What were you thinking Every drug sniffing dog is going to get a hit on your butt for the rest of your life.

The cash flow only goes one way with these folks. Deposit their worthless cashiers check in your Bank account they got your account number your just left with a worthless piece of paper! You tease a rabid dog you might get a owee. With the mass mailings that these folks use sometimes they are successfull and they haven't been stopped yet. R.I.P.

>>To me a persons pet shouldn't be a risk to others. Therefore I'm trusting the person if they say their dog does not bite. If the sign says "Beware of Dog" and I jump the fence and it bites me, then yes I'm at fault and no I wouldn't sue the person. If you let the dog in the house full of guests, your taking the responsibility it's not going to bite. A dog is an animal not a person. A person who owns a dog is responsible for everything that dog does. >> Agreed it's all about being responsiable for our own actions.

Everyone has a websight these days. You can check the Local PD or the sheriff's web sight. there might be something there. Just for grins we checked the local sheriff's (county) websight and they had a listing of registered perverts, address's & level of offense and likely hood to reoffend. R.I.P.

Amen Brother. I was thinking the same thing. In fact If a dog was to bite me I would kill it on the spot and sue the owner even if the owner was family. I grew up with dogs all my life, from pure breds to pound rejects. Train your dogs and keep them on a leash and off of the furniture. Nick In my house I allow my dogs on the furniture. If someone wants to sit down just look at the dog and the dogs move.

On the news saw a very short video of someone landing at the event. Just prior to landing the jumper was coming straight down, landed, did a immediate 180, and hauled in a brake line while moveing feet quickly. Don't know the size of the canopy but it wasn't a Foil. IMO winds were "brisk" R.I.P. -
Let the dog in, let the out, let the dog in, let the dog out . Dogs aren't stupid R.I.P.

IMO Leaving a agressive dog outside when folks are visiting may not be the answer. What happens if the dog escapes? How big is the dog? We had to put down a 2 yr old St Bernard we had as a pup it wasn't a pound dog when we bought him but we weren't able to see both parents just mom. He was socialized but as he grew larger he started to show signs of very agressive behavior even after we had him nutered etc. We were in denial Had a close call when he escaped from the house once and chased after a little kid who tried to protect herself by getting on the hood of the car. The dog wasn't interested in her ankles he wanted her throat. A little time later the big puppy growled at his daddy while getting his tummy rubbed. The vet wanted to put the dog on sedatives instead of putting him down. We decided to take him to the humane society and have him put down. While at the Society a guy looking for a pet wanted the dog, The wife asked if he had kids he said yes she said no. Putting down a member of the family is extreme, it hurts, but what if???? It's about being responsiable R.I.P.

>>Sounds to me like Lizard is just fed up of people taking advantage of his generosity. Dont let the people who go through life being assholes change who you are though>> True: Just don't step in their crap more than once or they'll think you like it, any give them a roll of toilet when the next time they visit so they know you aren't going to wipe their butt for them. Don't worry be happy!

If your talking about Dillingham field. The winds and rotor's can be challenging on landing get a good brief on where to land. BTW the one time we were there for a boogie, there was a real nice glider operation for the tourists at the airport. The back seat is built for two and there's a cliff close to the airport so the gliders can get lots of lift and stay up as long as you want to pay. Check out the DZ if you don't like the vibes take someone with you for a glider ride. R.I.P.

Workers Taped Together Explosive Pieces 2 hours ago By MATT KELLEY, Associated Press Writer WASHINGTON - Workers at the only U.S. factory for dismantling nuclear weapons risked an explosion this month by taping together broken pieces of high explosive being removed from the plutonium trigger of an old warhead, federal investigators said. The unorthodox handling of the unstable explosive increased the risk that the technicians would drop it and set off a "violent reaction," the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board said Tuesday in a letter to Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham. Such a reaction could have "potentially unacceptable consequences," board chairman John T. Conway said in the letter, which raised disquieting questions about safety at the Energy Department's Pantex nuclear weapons plant near Amarillo, Texas. No one was hurt and nothing exploded.

QuoteHappy vibes for the safe return of your ride, Heather. Others have mentined it before in other circumstances, how 'bout your homeowners insurance policy?... your friends' policy? IF it is covered, and IF your premiums rise for "X" years because of a claim, you could figure out what the true cost of the claim is and then decide if it is worth pursuing a claim. >> We heard about Robert the swamp guy (canopy rat) all the way up here in Seattle. if he can't find it then IMO someone stole it!
