  1. My WL is about 1.5 on a Pilot 150. I like it. I might not be ideal for you.
  2. First of all: WL is nothing like PI, after the first(second) digit of the fraction part is meaningless. Think! You weight can be deviate by 3 kg and the area of your canopy is just a projection usually. Use a canopy that you are comfortable with wing suit. You might find more info by searching this forum with WL keyword.
  3. Try to power tool! You don't want to have any pull-up cords anymore.
  4. We have some fix for that. There is a velcro on the pin end of the static line which is mated to its pair attached to the spring loaded PC. I can make some pictures about it if its needed.

Maybe a Paratec Next? Well, why would be a Wings logo on the top of the reserve flap?
  6. It's probably about a year and a half old, but it does have the latest software version on it, 2.6.2. It's on its way to Alti-2 so they can check it out and see if anything's wrong. They did offer to look at it at no charge and turn it back around the same day they receive it. If he would tell the full version, we might have known the hardware version too. I have 2.6.2 D, where D is the hardware revision.
  7. So? Is that so expensive? I use packing tool and I snap closing loops time to time. I prefer to break them on packing.
  8. Cool! So you can almost cut anything and everything with that zipper.
  9. Then why did only 3 people out of 13 get the correct answer? http://www.desktopaero.com/appliedaero/fundamentals/reno.html Anyway, the chord length or the mean chord length is the characteristic length used to calculate the reynolds number for a wing. Kris. Thanks! I can fly much better and longer after I gained this info. I really don't know how birds can fly without knowing a sh1t about aerodynamics.
  10. This might not be the right forum to discuss this issue. Try here alti-2. You may got better feedback there.
  11. Really? Just read the type from it and do a search on eBay if you can find in local shops.
  12. I think that might be the Glevenor material like your Hornet has than the color. That material is said to be the longest lasting ZP anyway. it can be with any fluorescent material. Are planing to buy a new canopy? Interesting color combinations tend to have lower re-sale value. Oh, feel free to join the pink maffia anyway!
  13. I think its depending on lots of things. -frequency: you can be more worried/excited if you are not current. -time of the year: given the same "shitty" weather in March and in October ( northern hemisphere). People might say its too cold for jumping in October after the skydiving season... -before or after the nationals: RW teams are training hard before the nationals, they might have less interest after that....
  14. It sounds much better than cat's pii.
  15. I did like you. It was not as bright as it looks for the first. I had some trouble with my body position after having 40+ track dives before. It burned in and I was tracking like a brick in my first jump.
  16. Well, you have the same information about the wind like to first/lower one does. I guess it would not be to hard to see the pattern he/she is setting up and just follow it.
  17. Do you have a BSR about common sense? You might have an attitude problem if you board the plane without having a plan. Sooner or later you collect all possible exception of the "rule".
  18. What is the difference between use and misuse? Is that Life and Death? Why to use a life saving device out of its operation envelope?
  19. Sure. You win. You don't want to solve this. I jump either hop'n'pop or wing suit. That's not my problem. The rest is up to you.
  20. Keep it simple: higher deployment speed. I'm still wondering why you opened that way? Just touching could have been the right practice.
