  1. Even just taking the grippers other/wrong/weak way can make significant difference.
  2. Bigger wing area does not give longer flights automatically. Flying a Firebird as you fly a Gti might not be the most effective way. Different suit can have different balance between arm and leg wings. What is your goal? Slower fall rate or max distance covered? You might not have them both in the same time. Fly more and think less about performance and try different ways of flying.
  3. He is correct. His pattern was a right hand pattern, with a left hand turn at the end. So what makes it a right hand pattern? AFAIK left pattern has just left, right pattern has just right turns.
  4. What water? A mug, pool, pond, river, lake, see?
  5. The big question is what are you looking for? I have a Pilot 150. It is good for almost everything except serious swooping.
  6. So what cars have to do with skydiving? There no road in the country with legal 3x differentials in speed. I don't think you can even find a 2x. Closest I know is a steep downhill with trucks at 35 and cars at 55. And the reality of course is that both trucks and cars are going faster.
  7. You may get 24' risers from plenty of sources. Only important thing is the matching size of 3 ring release.
  8. Don't be sorry. I don't know his abilities. I was smiling when I've heard that 60 seconds too.
  9. that's a standard for flat flying.... That's what he told me. I could not try or demo, because it was not any that I could fit in. I'm not a nordic type with wide shoulders, narrow hips and thin legs.
  10. So, how is that it opens as a valid image if I click on "Click to enlarge" ?
  11. One of my friend is jumping it. He can have 60 seconds of track from 4000m. He claims that it gives him 10 extra seconds. It has a decent quality, but I think its more cool than useful.
  12. Don't really understand what you mean. Geonaute is a Decathlon brand. -- Sylvain Google yourself! You can get video only hits with geonaute keymaze 300 keywords.
  13. Is that some kind of gerilla marketing? There are only videos about geonaute keymaze 300.
  14. Like this: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=48681;d=1
  15. .... Nope! AFAIK 120 days of pack cycle is valid for mains to in US. If you have any doubts just pack your main. There was some kind of powder used for preventing the material of round mains to stick to itself. I have a Cobalt made from Glevenor fabric. It looks like a brick if it is packed for long.
  16. Let me give you a practical example. It has happened with one of our student. He has a freefall jump from 3000-4000m, so over 15s fall.Wind has blown his goggles up so he could not see his altimeter anymore. He "lost" his visual altimeter. That is a situation where you should give opening signal and pull.
  17. Do you have any problem with your landings?
  18. All I say: Cobalt + WL 1.6 = . I'd rather jump it
  19. Try to negotiate some different way of shipping. E.g.: USPS Priority Mail or Airmail parcel post.
  20. Ok. That worked for you, but it does not mean it is right for me. That wing load is too much for me with a wing suit together. I need some time to zip up and I don't really have that time under my Cobalt.
  21. I have a Cobalt 135 in my TJN. Its quite tight. Its written upto 135..... I would not do that. It would be a real pain to close it every time.
  22. I have a Cobalt 135 in my TJN. Its quite tight. Its written upto 135..... I would not do that. It would be a real pain to close it every time.
  23. Have you jumped Cobalt with wing suit? I had just one. It has opened pretty nice, but going down quite steep. I don't plan more with WL 1.6+ .
  24. AFAIK not all canopy collisions were swooping related this year. Why do you want to simplify the case? There is no BSR for common sense.
