Your canopy is flying as long cells are pressurized. So your newly modified canopy would easier collapse in turbulence. Is this you really want? If I were you I'd rather learn how to pack.
-
This is a realyl old trick.
-
Oh, the rolling nose myth again. Don't have a device which controls the speed of opening?
-
flying a wing suit is requires a bit more than spotting. You rather call it flight planning. track1 track2 You have to have a plan from the exit to the choosen area for deployment.
-
Nice. You are late. You can not catch the bus anymore.
-
How about...dont dive down agressivly? They want to land ASAP. It was not any problem jumping other places.

I got a question from a pilot how to avoid WS fliers. He is worrying to hit a WS flier when he dives down aggressively after the last man exited. I told him it would not happen, but I could not explain why. Any thoughts?

Can you invite him here? It would be more interesting to read his experience and feelings about flying that canopy. -

Just don't feed the troll. -
I don't think so. What I heard that his slider did not come down...so it was not landing without a parachute.

Because you never tried. You might try a Katana97, but your body is different, so your WL and experience will be. Becuase he can never try that.... Keep on repeating....... I did jump a Cobalt135 with 12Kg of extra weight, before I tried a 105. My WL was close, but the experience was different.
-
You are right. Thats not for a faint hearted. Man, don't jump that, you are going to hurt yourself.
-
You could be under a Katana 97. Is that the reason why you are so sour? Only the time can prove if he is right or wrong. Its never the canopy, it always the pilot.
-
Are you really surprised about it? There are 2 factor for high front riser pressure: flat trim and low wing load. I guess you had both.

RIGGERS: Suggested training for Vigil customers

I have seen a log of "switching on" the Cypres in one club. I know only one day when we jump longer than 14h and this is a party of the safety briefing on that day. -
How many people have 10 000 jumps or more?
phoenixlpr replied to nigel99's topic in Safety and Training
Brian Germain should have 13000+ now. -
We have even cooler tandem masters jumping 11 cell canopies. They are really cool.
-
I guess as long as you are a student you instructor can decide what you can jump. I jumped 220,260,280 as a student.

When you out of the student program.
