Do you mean this? I have not seen anyone using it. I can not see any benefit in this sport. On the other hand some people is using their helmet as a mounting point for heavy objects.

Aren't they still grounded?

Does the risk eventually catch up to everyone?

I value human stupidity even more. You seem to not know what risk is about.... You are statistically dead, anyway it is just a matter of time. -
Thats way its a canopy needs babysitting. Fly your openings and leave rear risers alone!

Define outfly!

Than demo it. BTW flipping a coin is almost as efficient than reading others review.

Does the price has to do anything with producing in really small quantities? He should have a hell of expensive signature. He used to have a course discount. -
Sure, Ask the PD test pilots.
-
Sure! If you tune a working release system into a non-function than you call it a great idea...
-
Pardon me? Who gives a damn about integrity risers on a BASE rig? You just do not cut your BASE canopy away in an in-flight emergency....
-
Well, first of all make sure those are not yours. Than you can turn it out and see....
-
When you don't have to run like hell and/or your joints are not hurting.... I got 2 canopies that I could not stall with full toggle stroke, but I could land them nicely.

Imagine those days without these gadgets! When you logged your exit altitude, deployment altitude and your freefall delay from your own head....

The weather is not optimal for jumping a round, so you don't have to bring any.

Got 9 jumps with RS-4/A.

Accuracy competition started long before square canopies were on the scene. Those who could not spot were 'at the mercy of the winds;" those who could spot used the winds to their advantage. Sure! Not so many people can make a stone axe or a brass spear head, but it could be really handy...
-
Why don't you try to get a jump with a round main? Than you see why most of the people don't want to use them anymore. FYI even some pilot bail-out rig can have square reserve...

It just costs a leg.

What is the wingsuit mod for containers?
phoenixlpr replied to skittles_of_SDC's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I fly a Phantom. I got 150+ jumps with a VectorII and a couple with a Javelin `96. None of my rigs got any WS specific modification. I used a 32" kill line PC with a short bridle without any problem whatsoever for 100+ jumps. For the record I open from full flight so not from a vertical trajectory....
