You made a blanket statement. There might not be stability issues in turbulence with low aspect ration, high wing profile, open nose canopies. Wing load "provides" forward speed, forward speed keeps your airfoil pressurized.

Is 30 seconds too big price to flake it anyway?
-
Sure, you know all canopies have the vary same airfoil, design....

Swoop Gone Wrong - The Aftermath
phoenixlpr replied to skybytch's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Been there. Remember? I told you not to feed the troll.... Darwinism works, like like in BASE... Do you take every word literally? You suppose to know how to land a canopy nice and easy. -
Swoop Gone Wrong - The Aftermath

The landing area is free of obstacles. The spools mark the edge, keep spectators and vehicles out and hold wind indicators. Well, swooping is not too wise without a decent accuracy. -
Swoop Gone Wrong - The Aftermath

Is this really the way how we should teach the less experienced ones? Show a good and positive example and teach how things can be done on the safe manner. Flying into a solid object would hurt anyway. How come? Is a landing area suppose to be free from obstacles? I did start to fly a canopy like that about WL 1.6 with 300 jumps. Its more important to learn when to take it easy and slow than push it harder. -
Something that the heroes of this forum lack (refer to inability to stay in your established grid on the 71 way world "record" fl0ck). So let me get this straight, this Sangi fool is giving shit to the 71 world record holders even though he has never even flown a wingsuit?? Am i missing something or is this Sangi the biggest dick head on this site ?? Do _not_ feed the troll.

What deployment method do you have on your primary sport rig?
phoenixlpr replied to DocPop's topic in Gear and Rigging
Any particular reason? Its no problem if you don;t want to jump with wing suit. Advantage? You container stay closed as long you pull. It can be a good point for speed skydiving and FF too. -
I jump a Stealth now. My Pc is quite accessable. I don't need any mod. See picture.

You are so funny. How many altimeters does your current canopy requires?
-
Somehow I don't consider using skydiving rig as a dragchute safe.

The Lotus is no longer available... wow, that sucks! If you read the whole story. So you can have one although it would be quite expensive.

Do you mean dead man walking?

I got my Triathlon160 relined with Dacron, it had Spectra before. The change in pack volume was not significant.
-
I got other way around. I got my Triathlon relined with Dacron line-set, like used with CRW, but cascaded. It opens nice and soft.

How to fix a SuperMach 1: make it into an S-Bird!
phoenixlpr replied to SkymonkeyONE's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Compare to what? I fly a Stealth which has a similar cut to SM1. I got 3 flight with Vampire3. V3 is lot more agile and responsive than Stealth and a lot easier to fly. -
Feeding the troll????

Guys! Stop feeding the troll!

Why Stiletto? Couldn't you find a Velocity, VX or JVX?

What is the connection? How would anyone able to tell if they are long or not from this info you provided?
