It was cold outside. I was jumping in snowboarding clothes.
-
You can do it like me. Because you can.

Its a bit head low. Can you show the previous 3 sec? There is nothing to worry about, the canopy look in full line stretch. I hope he had not jumped with a Sabre.

Tips On Packing A Fairly New Canopy

BMI Check List This is out and available to anyone and still it summarizes the very essence of the FFC.
-
This is pathetic. Withholding essential material is bad. In some countries over 500 jump having an FFC is just a recommendation and not a requirement...

I am comfortable exiting at... (non-emergency)
phoenixlpr replied to fcajump's topic in Safety and Training
Depends on what gear I use. -
I use silicone tube and silicone glue. Thinner for simple stows, thicker for locking stows. I have tried rubber, but that is no good.

I just make my own for my needs. Tubestow

Well, sabre2 210 would fly better than nav 220. Its not a big step. Go for it!

Sounds like comparing apples with oranges like a diving elliptical and a flat trimmed square.

Very well done!

Hackey/Bridle issues... WAS Cold Weather..
phoenixlpr replied to mccordia's topic in Wing Suit Flying
You are talking about hesitations. Different subject than this. Most incidents (and one fatal accident in base) have been with full flight pulls. Its the gear, not the method used. I would not call a knot on a bridle a sign of hesitation. I have not seen those again since I full from full flight..... Your choice of small or big burble... -
Hackey/Bridle issues... WAS Cold Weather..
phoenixlpr replied to mccordia's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Classic/student pull method creates bigger burble than full flight. I got all kindda fun when I used the classic method, than I went back to pulling from full flight. No more issues since than. -

I don't get this kindda trouble since I pull from full flight. I get better and cleaner openings. -
Someone posts a happy personal acomplishment, and you're the only one bitching.... Attitude? I dare to ask what was it about. Does it have any meaning or whatever...

2 years ago everyone would have pointed to the Stealth2 & V3 as a design influence.... Or SM1/XS influence?

You judge me after 3 sentences? Who has the pride and prejustice? Congratulations for your attitude! Back to the topic. Inadequate tools and measurement methods leads to questionable results. An electronic altimeter and logger is not a right tool for wing suit flying. You can fly a wing suit 1000 different ways. I can fly my wing suit about 90 km/h vertical descent. It can be coming with 105 km/h ground speed or 165 km/h ground speed. Can you tell me which one is better?

Thanks for addressing me as a SkyGod for the first time! Just go and ask some RW/belly flyiers about who can have the longest freefall time from 13000 to 3000 feet! Flight time does not tell anything about the quality of a jump.
-
Well if you consider floating as flying, than very well done!

What's your preferred flght time measuring device(s) ?
phoenixlpr replied to likestojump's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I'd rather pay that $30-$40 for iBlue 747+..... Its cheaper than a new analog altimeter.... -

How many ws jumps before teaching others to fly?
phoenixlpr replied to SuperGirl's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Is 50 jumps enough? Done is this or 5-6 seasons? There is no strong correlations between jump numbers and skill and this does not depend on a skydiving discipline. -
There is no issue like this if you have a nice clean throw.
-
Actually, I landed my main , not my reserve... Sorry, my bad. I've seen a cable I've though that was the other way around.
