I envy you much. Ive bought mine, but my gear is in my rigger. Thanks RWS for producing my reserve PC for 4+ weeks...........

Nice gosip

I have a Z1 and Im jumping in Finland. In cold weather I might have some fog inside my visor when ground temperature was under +5C. It takes no time to open visor a bit and fog is gone in no time.

Why is a Tandem Cypres more expensive than an Expert/Student one?
phoenixlpr replied to cpoxon's topic in Gear and Rigging
If you not satisfied, you may choose different product like Vigil..... -
I would ask a rigger if I were you. We use normal bands with PD Navigator and always double wrap them. IMHO with lines its always about tension and not about double wrap.
-
We have the same practice. Students learn (flat)packing on PD Navigators. Our reasons: 1. not all the instructors can do pro-pack 2. we have 2 checkpoints for students and the first CP cant be applied for pro-pack.....

Im sorry I have an MSc. You need force for that..... -
I had Protrack first, Z1 second. Good combination, I love it.
-
Yes, Of course . And do you know that psycho-pack might cause cancer?
-
Why is it so? AFAK we want to canopy spread first than in onflate later. Ive packed accuracy gears, we always did magic on nose.
-
If I dont have fear before that I should start thinking what I couldve forgotten.....and dont stop util I land. Lack of fear is a bad sign for me. It reminds me that something unexpected can happen.
-
Make it simple check HC book for expected packing volume of the main(interval of cci ) and the packing volume of your main.
-
Id love to try PP with my new canopy, but my mentor/instuctor would kill me even if I just think about it.....
-
IMHO the number of cells make no big difference. WL and form/trim make the difference big!

Majority want fancy helmet...skydiving helmets are sold in small quantites. That could be the reason for high prices.
-
Interesting, but I still think if ii is 3S thats not enough reason for going plan B.
-
You missed something. Skydiving helmets are fulfilled the requirments. So the problem is in out requirments not in the manufacturers side :)

One personal question: how many smilies should I put that you get it as a joke???? I was not serious with cleaning it airborne. -

I would take my non-flipable visor helmet off if it gets foggy after I checked canopy and traffic, before unstowing breaks. I dont have to drop it, just bind against chest trap. -
or you may start with reading manual......
-
I had several broken line(on opening) it has started to turn. Ive cutted away.
-
I did some jumps without AAD. I think its normal. If someone cannot trust him/herself its better play golf instead...... One of my instructor is jumping 2-4 way RW without AAD....
-
I had that problem (from hopNpop )and Ive cuted away.... I had 2 fast mals. Ive cuted away, but my main was hanging on the RSL.
