  1. A very simple example. The Cayman Islands dollar is tied to the US dollar. I earn in $CI. The war, heavy borrowing etc are weakening the currency and making me poorer although I have nothing to do with the US. Thats just a VERY simple example of why someone might care. So there is the economic factor. There's also the fact that the US and others went to war without the UN and basically gave a lot of other nations the finger. I guess if the US can invade who they want when they want then people might start getting nervous. Speaking for myself, I could NOT care less what the UN says or thinks of USA. I wish we were out.
  2. I was going to respond that this guys spelling is the proud product of our schools, then I read his bio. From Denmark! Guess they can't spell English there either (but he probably spells English better than I do Danish) LOL! Why would he care about what USA does. I sure don't care what Denmark does. Just curious

Not to mention our Pentigon. or were you still in bed that day? ask ANY soldier what they are fighting for....i bet not one of then says that they dont know. WELL SAID!
  4. Don't you know by now? You can say or do anything you want to White Anglo-Saxon Males and it is NOT discrimination. In fact in many areas (such as this article proves) it is encouraged.
  5. My kids are grown, but HERE is MY granddaughter, Nikki (her mom, and my daughter, has taken portions of AFF until she became pregnant with Nikki) She will find the time & $ one day to jump again.
  6. Born in 1955, the year he came on, I always remember him on TV. A great loss for good kid's tv programming. Blue skies, Cap!
  7. Then you ought to love my cartoon for Wednesday. You may have to read a few previous 'toons to get the drift. cartoon
  8. At a big DZ, should be no problem. I jumped 10 times from 11 AM - 7 PM last summer at Skydive Dallas packing my own rig. It should be a breeze if you get a packer. Congrats! I'm envious of your # of jumps!
  9. That's your problem, right there. Right, I should've been listening to Clinton News Network CNN

    Lasix?

Had it done in 12/99. Wow! What a difference! I went from 20/200 to 20/15. This summer I had a blocked central retinal vein (TOTALLY unrelated to lasix) and now my left eye is 20/400. I'm so glad I have 20/20 in my right eye! I cannot imagine what it would be like to be 2/200 in eye w/o contact and 20/400 in left eye (no cure for what happened). I highly recommend, but just as with all surgeries, weigh the risk!
  11. 1963 Chevy Bel Air. Paid $200 for it back in 1971 (I was 16) Sold it a year later for $100. It is worth about $2K if I had it now!
  12. Of course CBS never spins anything!
  13. A great example of a true patriot! I'm proud to call him brother! My prayers are with his family! Former Special Forces ODA 552 2nd Bn 5th SFG
  14. saw it on a cable news -- most likely Fox, but not for sure. I believe they were discussing a French model 2002 stinger.
  15. Actually the fact that Iraq had recent (2002) weapons from them were on the news. No one said much, not CNN, CBS or even the papers ... imagine that! Hmmmmm wonder why?
  16. Yes, we did sell them a lot, when we supported them against Iran. But I suspect their more up to date weapons are from France and Russia
  17. What keeps me laughing is because CNN, CBS, (you name it) hasn't shown you that they have WMD you won't believe. Fine, don't believe. Take it from one who knows. Military Intelligence (oxymoron, I know) knows more than they will ever say. (thank GOD!) If you need further proof of that, ask my fellow Green Beret Keith Laub "Bigun" or as he goes by here ... "Nightjumps"
  18. Dude, you just don't get it ... military wise.
  19. The have for some time. They were when I was assigned to the area 1978 -- they are (well, were) now. Again, not as much as some, but more than others. It was a show of force. Notice how N. Korea now wants to talk? Before they said "attack us, I dare ya!" They are not saying that now.
