    The little red activation button on my CamEye2 got knocked off (riser slap?) Does anyone know, can it be repaired? If so, who do you send it to? Any info on the maker (address) I purchased from one of the gear comapanies (paragear, etc)

    What's wrong with Jesus' great commandment? Matt 22:37-39 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (NIV) Hard to go wrong if we'd all do that.

    I'm far from the experience you can get on this forum, but here is my 2 cents worth. Be able to fly your slot in RW -- at least be able to fly w/o having to think about flying -- by that I mean, fly instinctually as one does a bicycle after learning how. If you have to "think" slip here, slide there, up, down, you will not only not be able to keep the tandem in frame, but you will endanger them. It all comes with experience. That is why 200 jumps is a standard MINIMUM. (others need more, some less)

    I lived in Anchorage for 7 years (1982 - 89) ... the warmest it got while I was there was 76 degrees! Still looks beautiful though!

    I'm no expert, but this I know ... the dot on your goggles can move (perhaps the ring sight can too if you hit it really hard, but not with the force of the wind). I never"think" about the ring sight anymore than I "think" about flying. It has slowly become second nature to frame the shot and the ring sight is the best piece of equipment for that. IMHO.

    I'm designing a DZ shirt similar to Harley shirts and require a very good quality photo of a canopy in flight -- surfing in maybe. It needs to be close and sharp. Also the price needs to be REAL reasonable as the budget for this venture is miniscule. Anybody have any suggestions?

    at our small cessna DZ I was required to pay my slot to lurk a non-video tandem (TM okayed me to lurk) I then showed the video to the DZO -- if he thought it was worthy (he did) he offered it at normal video concession price to the tandem. If they paid - great I was paid like normal videographers, if not, I paid my slot. After repeatedly doing this and proving my camera flying skills were on par with his regular fliers I was offered a slot in the rotation. In short -- get permission from DZO and TM, pay your dues and earn your slot in the rotation. If you don't measure up? Practice on your buddies. NEVER go behind the DZ and offer a video to tandems.

    I asked my wife when I earned my Masters (1 class shy) if she would call me "master" since people with doctorates are called, "doctor". ... she reminded me I have a "bachelor" degree ...

    BS in pastoral ministry (BS part is very descriptive) One class shy of my MA in Theology. I pastor a church full of bikers and skydivers. But I cartoon and illustrate for magazines as well as web design to fund my skydiving habit. Fortunately now as a coach, I teach/coach and fly video to offset skydiving cost too.

    Sidewinder made boxes that worked with different models. Depends on the year & make. I had a Sidewinder that was too small for a Sony PC7, but I've seen some that hold it fine.

    I rendered it -- same problem. When it first appears its okay, but as soon as you scrub it the little box shows up again. and it never appears right again.

    I have premiere 6 and when I place a title in timeline 2 or higher over a video in 1 it appears as a little white box with an X in the upper left corner. The title is in a superimpose line (2 or higher) It is marked "transparent" In fact when you first click transparency it appears, but when you scrub or play all you see is the white box with an X. Any clues?
