  1. The images on my didgital rebel are saved a JPGs about 40 inches wide and at 72 DPI. Is there a way to have them smaller like 11 X 14 with 300 DPI?
  2. Avery Design Pro Media - VERY easy and Avery labels are everywhere!
  3. That records in "-R" Is there another good combo that will also record in "+"?
  4. This summer they told me 4 weeks... dunno now.
  5. I agree ... by far the best choice if you don't mind waiting. I'm too impatient so when I wanted a new helmet this ummer, I ordered the old Optic instead -- got it in three days.
  6. I go there every year for scuba and skydiving, but this year may be tough (no $) So I'd say, Cancun, Playa Del Carma, Cozumel
  7. Whoa, I agree with Squeak...you two look ridiculously young to have been married for 30 years! I will not even ask how old you two are, but keep at it, whatever it is that you two are doing to look so youthful!
  8. yeah, I like it too -- I was just funnin'.
  9. As the vidiot, I tell the tandem student, "Remember, whatever happens to you two, I'll be okay!"
  10. Oh, that's it! If I get an out of focus picture it is "picture a-la-oil-painting" type. Yeah, that's the ticket!
  11. I love my Optic (old style) -- and YES< you need a chin cup. The wind wants to take my head off when I step outside with the added weight and height on the top.
  12. I moved my AVI files to an external HD, but when I run them on Premiere they run jumpy. Not a bad place to store them, but not a good place to run them from.
  13. I'm sure it is not the BEST one, but I like it anyway.
  14. Sarah: You see me every week at the DZ, but here are two of me and my wife of THIRTY years! She's MY hotty! This was last summer when I shaved my head!
  15. Our small Cessna DZ would like to offer DVDs as an alternative to VHS. What are we needing? Computer with DVD burner for sure -- and software to boot. But what else? Also, what files will DVD software convert? AVI? WMV??
  16. I agree, but I started around 200 jumps with camera (fun freefly and RW jumps) and the tandem videos around 300 jumps) Jump #s matter a lot for safety reasons, but lately I have seen guys with a thousand or more jumps that can't keep a tandem in frame for the length of the skydive. So, flying skills are important too. So, while I agree #s should be "a" measure if a flyer is ready for camera, I sure don't think it is "the" measure. Nothing helps more than having a mentor or a DZO who can jump with you or who knows your skills -- who could best determine when you should fly the camera. JMHO
  17. I'm interested!! Let meknow how it worksout.
  18. I was in 5th SFG on a HALO/SCUBA team. One half of us went to SCUBA and one half went to HALO (I went to SCUBA first) When it came time for me to go to HALO I ETSed. My greatest regret in life!
  19. Bonehead Optic (old style) with D-Box -- See attached picture. (soory so small -- can't find original
  20. Mine (HC20) does. Its on the "inside" for a side mount, so it not as convienant, but it has one.
  21. I was born in 55 (a classic) so I guess that one precedes me
  22. June Lockhart was Timmy's mom (she also played the mom on "Lost in Space") -- I AM old (49) -- I only missed # 3 from the quiz -- never watched Route 66 a unique intrpretation to McLean's song http://www.whrc-wi.org/americanpie.htm
  23. Well, it came with a 18-55 lens and a 512 card -- still too much!
