  1. What is the best sight setup for the optic??? Do you need an extender??? What sight do you all prefer??? Please let me know, I need to kick it up a knotch from the little sticky dot. Thanks. Clint D-24352
  2. Well, tell me the different kinds you would use for the different dives. I am probably going to use it most for tandems, but let me know. Clint D-24352
  3. So, what is the best music for skydiving videos? I just bought a 3 channel mixer and was looking for opinions on what music to use. I played with it earlier and I liked the combination of Linkin Park and Evanescence. What do you all recomend? Clint
  4. Just Go!!! I was there at 16 with 70 jumps and had a blast. I took advantage of the LO's and got on some 12 ways and other really good dives. I really enjoyed the night life as well. I hit up my first wet T-Shirt contest there and I also the oldest pair of tits (Mama) imaginable. So, just go and I know you will enjoy yourself. Clint
  5. You all know nothing. That movie was kick ass. I agree the story wasn't all straight from history, but if it was, it would have lasted 12 or so years. Clint D-24352
  6. 1:4:6 1: One pair of $190 Oakleys sucked off my face on a DEMO into Ft. Bliss. 4: Four good jumps including one great DEMO (minus the Oakleys departing my life) and 3 4-Ways. 6: One six pack cashed. OOOO, once it touches your lips it s sooooo gooooooodd. Clint D-24352
  7. That would suck. So I guess no one has ever had a really expensive jump. Come on guys, make me feel better about losing my sunglasses. Clint D-24352
  8. Dude, that is just a reason for the Greeks to conquer Troy. Agamemnon (The King) wanted to conquer Troy, so he used the "You Rat Bastards, Your Sissy ASS Prince (Paris / Orlando Bloom) Jacked My BRO's (Menalaus) Hot ASS Chick" EXCUSE!!! It seriously works everytime and it worked for the Greeks. Well, at least well enough to get 50,000 of them on 1,000 ships to sail there and really kick each others ASSES. Now, I don't want to sound like I live for this shite, but that movie seriously inspired me to go take over a country. I don't know which yet, so help would be appreciated. I also read a similar book, Aeschylus' Oresteia in a college english class and it began with Agamemnon returning from his victory in TROY. I actually forgot that it was a 10 year war, but I can't believe I learned something from english. Anyway, again, go see the movie. It is well worth it and they wrap the war up in a few hours rather than 10 years. Clint D-24352
  9. I must say that TROY is the coolest movie I have ever seen in my life. I would strongly recomend the movie to anyone and everyone. If you liked Gladiator, you will absolutely love this movie. Brad Pitt kicked some serious ASS and played his part really really well. For all you ladies who think this wouldn't be your thing, Pitt shows his ass all over the place. Now, I am not one for dudes asses, but if it will get you ladies to the movies, your men can see some quality ass kicking and you will like it as well. If anyone doesn't like it, I will give you my rig. That is a bold thing to say, and of course I am lying, but I know you will like it. Clint D-24352
  10. For me, it was not a high altitude, specialty aircraft, or even my first jump. It was not a jump where I ended up in the hospital with broken bones or the sort, but rather, a nonpaying (yes, Jimmy Tavino, nonpaying) DEMO jump into Ft. Bliss army base yesterday. It is a DEMO we (Skydive El Paso) do every year for Armed Forces Day and it was my third year / time doing the jump. The difference between this time and the other times was that the guy (my dad actually) who usually organizes the DEMO was out of town on business, so I took his place as organizer. So, we get the plan set, which is to launch a 4 way at 5 grand. I was to jump smoke and the Texas flag and another jumper smoke and the American flag, we would dump at 3 grand, stagger the landings in right in front of the crowd with the American flag landing last. After getting geared up and checked, we get in the plane and head for the DEMO site. We get there already at 2 thousand feet AGL and I was getting the 3 WDIs ready to throw as I was communicating with the ground crew to check the winds and to see if we were still a go for 10:30. I hear we are a go for 10:30 and it was around 10:15 so I line the plane up and throw the WDIs, but I forgot to take off my damn sunglasses (after already forgetting my croakies). So, I throw the WDIs and off goes my $190.00 Oakleys. After a split second of me saying "what the hell were you thinking" to myself, as well as grieving for my awesome sunglasses, I instructed the pilot to make a slow turn so we could watch the WDIs. The rest of the jump however, went as good as any of us could imagined. We planned the dive and we dived the plan and I got it all on film. After a nice swoop and landing on the target in front of the cheering crowd, the 4 of us were greeted by the Post Commanding Two Star General with a "good job / well done handshake" and we each got one of his Challenge Coin's (4 of the 10 or so we later heard that he gives out in a year). All in all, it was probably the best DEMO I have ever been on and it will definitely be one I will not forget. Although it was my most expensive jump thus far, it was worth every second of it and I will always remember my damn croakies in the future. Clint D-24352
  11. Clint, Great minds think alike. I was actually going to write out the address to this thread and hand it to her on the way out, but I am to kind to do that. If I had done that, I am sure she would have hunted me down and gone psycho on me. AH well, maybe she will change her ways (or her socks) someday. Clint
  12. Well, actually, she had sat down at the same time as the other two. I don't even think she was even working out before, she just looked like it, so I presumed it was her. And, just to clarify, I don't have a problem with "HEFTY" girls. I know they need loving too. I also know that skinny people can stink as well. Just to repeat: I am not prejudice against "HEFTY" girls. Clint D-24352
  13. Dude, no!!! It isn't a medical thing, it is a, "I"M LAZY AND I DON'T CLEAN MYSELF" thing. That and her shoes look like she has had them for 10 years. Anyway, lead your organization in another direction, that shit is disgusting. Clint
  14. Ok, here is the deal. I am in finals right now at the most prestigious university in Huntsville, TX, Sam Houston State. I am currently sitting in the computer lab dicking around and not studying, but as soon as I was going to start studying, something really really disgusting occurred. Now, this is really really screwed up. So, I begin to smell this nasty smell around me and I am in complete disgust. I looked behind me and noticed a pretty hefty girl that looked like she just got back from the biggest workout of her life. So, I walked by her on the way to get some water (AS WELL AS FRESH AIR), and discovered that it wasn't her expelling this putrid stench. Upon getting back from quite possibly the best breath of fresh air ever, I noticed the two girls sitting across from me at another table (who just arrived before I noticed the smell). So, I looked under the table (acting like I was getting something out from my bag) and see one of the girls with her shoes off, rubbing her feet together. Now WHAT THE F**K is up with that??? Can she not smell her skanky ass feet??? I am like 5 feet away and I can smell them like they are shoved up my nose. Anyway, now I have to pack up my shit and find another place to get my work done. There should be a law against people with smelly ass feet. That just isn't right. Sorry for ranting, but that is so disgusting and I am sure someone will get a laugh out of it. Clint D-24352
  15. Hey man, I really appreciate it. That was the best description yet and I am learning so much. Thanks for all the help. Clint D-24352
  16. I think that would work with the two music tracks mixing. I know that mixer is a bit much, but I just wanted to see if that is the kind that would work. Thanks for the help. Also, what is so good about 16 bit audio? Let me know. Clint
  17. That is a damn good point. See, I said I was no genius. So, with the mixing board, I would plug in the audio from the CD player and the audio from the camera to the mixing board and output the combined sound to the VCR? If this is so, would I just plug the Video cable straight to the VCR or is there a slot on the mixing board? Would something like this work? http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--BEHVMX100 Thanks again.
  18. So, if there are three ports on the VCR (1 Video and 2 Audio), I could plug in the Video and 1 audio from the PC-105 and 1 audio from the CD Player and get what I want? I thought about doing this the other day, but didn't try to see how it would sound. Question though. Wouldn't the CD Player music only be played on one speaker and the sound from the video be played on the other speaker? I am no genius with this mixing stuff, but I really want to learn. Thanks for the help so far. Clint D-24352
  19. If this isn't possible, how can I dub music from a personal CD player to the PC 105 while I dub the video + music to a VCR and record it on a VHS tape? I just want to be able to put music to video and make a VHS tape at the same time. All help would be appreciated. Clint D-24352
  20. Is it possible to dub audio through the port that a MIC would go into on the PC 105. I am trying to set up a portable way to edit and dub audio with the least amount of equipment. It is kind of hard to put audio on the tape (using the camera) with a portable CD player and dub the tape to VHS at the same time. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the info. Clint D-24352 PS- The picture is from another thread so you can see what port I am talking about.
  21. I removed the hand strap bracket as well. Those Dremmel tools are the shit. Anyway, I use a D-Box so I can't tell you much about an L bracket, but I recomend you get a Camera condom. That will help to prevent your $900 investment from a lot of hurt. Just my opinion. Clint D-24352
  22. Well, it will be interesting to see what my neptune says when I get it. I have seen my track from video on the side and I know it is flat. I just don't know where the fast speed is coming from. Anyway, thanks everyone. Clint D-24352
  23. Well, I assure you, there is nothing wrong with my track. I have seen it on video a hundred times and it is nice and flat. The reason behind my posts were to see at what point in a dive (belly to earth) would the max speed be recorded. Doesn't the pro track only record speeds starting 15 seconds after exit? That is why hop and pops are usually not recorded with speeds. So, when in a 4 way would the max speed be recorded? Still curious. Clint D-24352
  24. Ok. Well then it is safe to say that if you are doing a 4 way out of a cessna, launching the formation, the max speed would be the track. Also, if you are filming a tandem with an average speed of 105mph SAS, then the fastest part of the dive would be if you were to leave the tandem and track away. It has been my experience that the track is normally the fastest part of the dive if you are doing belly to earth flying. I usually hit around 140 mph SAS on my protrack after a 4 way. Is this 140 mph because of the track? Is it because I am going 140 mph horizontel or vertical? I would like to think it was horizontel. Let me know. Clint
  25. Ok, I am a little confused. At what point in a normal skydive (belly to earth)would the Pro Track record your max speed? I always thought it was the tracking at the end of the dive that would be your max speed. But, this speed is more horizontel then vertical, right? Someone clear this up for me. My neptune is on the way and I would like to know for my own sake. Clint D-24352
