  1. I want a 135 also. I just called and got a quote from a dealer for a 135 Katana (price was effective May 05), but he didn't know when it would be released. I jump a 135 Sabre 2, but I don't really want to go to a Katana 120. I wish it would be soon. Clint D-24352
  2. I think it is. Don't they look similar though?
  3. I got this one a while ago in an email. Clint D-24352
  4. Please realize that you have no business jumping a camera at your experience level. Like others have said, you need to know how to fly your body first. Go talk to your local instructors and experienced videographers at your DZ. I am sure they will tell you the same thing. Clint D-24352
  5. I was in Sioux Falls earlier this month. I saw a big billboard for a DZ in Minnesota, but I didn't have time to go. Maybe next time. Clint D-24352
  6. Oh yeah, Thanks to Woody for making everyone else look so good in the sky. Is there a place we could send money for some coaching for the guy??? Clint D-24352
  7. Big thanks to Todd, Kathy, and the staff. I had a great time. Also, thanks to Gary for organizing and Max for getting some good video on the formation load. See everyone next year. Clint D-24352 PS. Todd, good luck again at the CPC Championship.
  8. Congrats Carol !!! I jumped with Carol at the convention last year. We did a 6 PT 12 Way with Roger Ponce. I think I was the only one on that jump with less then 1000 jumps and no world records. Here is a picture. Clint D-24352 PS. Craig Girard probably has 20,000 by now. There has to be more then 10.
  9. John, I set it down on the grass by the table after our 3rd jump. I forgot to pick it up because I was too busy tracking down all my other gear that was moved while we were gone. I sent Al an email so hopefully it will turn up. That jump was pretty fun. Take it easy. Clint D-24352
  10. Just wanted to thank Al, Larry, Rich, Chuck, and everyone else for the fun time. I had a blast and can't wait for next year. Clint D-24352 PS. Did anyone pick up my smoke bracket? There is a fat reward for whoever has it. Please let me know. (915) 637-1318.

  13. Gotcha. I new I was missing something. Thanks for clearing it up. Clint
  14. What am I missing. Below is an article from the PD website about the record. It says it was Jay Moledski. Am I missing something or did they forget to put Jonathan's name in it. ------------------------------------------- PD Article On the first round of distance at the PST Swoop Festival in Chicago Jay Moledzki broke the former world record held by team mate Jonathan Tagle by 13ft from 494ft to 507ft the second round yielded a slight head wind holding Jay back just slightly with a swoop in the high 450ft range, but come the third round the conditions were in his favor with a light 2-3 mph cross to down wind breeze and a super powerful approach leading him to his second world record in just one day with an astounding 522.2ft. "I felt confident coming into this event that if the conditions were favorable I would have a good shot at breaking Jonathan's record." "The wind was light and variable all day witch made for tricky conditions and last minute decisions regarding setting up for the gate." "After committing to my approach and powering for the gate I felt a sigh of relief and let out a big WOOOHOOOO! just as I passed the entrance", "I knew I was going downtown" " I got a little more lift than I expected but it payed off in the end and I was glad that I stopped when I did because there was only a few feet of grass left before meeting the tar mack" " I love my 103 Velocity it just keeps going and going and going..." --------------------------------------------------- Please tell me, I know how to read. Doesn't it say Jay Moledski broke the record??? Clint D-24352
  15. Bump. I'm getting excited!!! How did the teams shape up??? Clint D-24352
  16. I'm getting excited. Have the teams been filled??? Clint D-24352
  17. Kathy, What will the price of jump tickets be? Please let me know. Thanks. Clint D-24352
  18. Todd, How much is registration if we don't pre-register? Any idea how much jump tickets are going to be? Clint D-24352
  19. OOOPs. I guess I didn't look at the serach results good enough. Anyway, maybe some more people will see it. Clint
  20. I got an email from a friend recently that makes alot of sense. ------------------------------------------------- ICE - In Case of Emergency A campaign encouraging people to enter an emergency contact number in their mobile phone's memory under the heading "ICE" (i.e. In Case of Emergency), has rapidly spread throughout the world as a particular consequence of the terrorist attacks in London. Originally established as a nation-wide campaign in the UK, ICE allows paramedics or police to be able to contact a designated relative/next-of-kin in an emergency situation. The idea is the brainchild of East Anglian Ambulance Service paramedic Bob Brotchie and was launched in May this year. Bob, 41, who has been a paramedic for 13 years, said: "I was reflecting on some of the calls I've attended at the roadside where I had to look through the mobile phone contacts struggling for information on a shocked or injured person. Almost everyone carries a mobile phone now, and with ICE we'd know immediately who to contact and what number to ring. The person may even know of their medical history." By adopting the ICE advice, your mobile will help the rescue services quickly contact a friend or relative - which could be vital in a life or death situation. It only takes a few seconds to do, and it could easily help save your life. Why not put ICE in your phone now? Simply select a new contact in your phonebook, enter the word 'ICE' and the number of the person you wish to be contacted. It's so simple that everyone can do it. Please do. Will you also email this to everybody in your address book, it won't take too many 'forwards' before everybody will know about this. It really could save your life, or put a loved one's mind at rest. For more than one contact name ICE1, ICE2, ICE3 etc." ----------------------------------------- Clint D-24352
  21. I talked to Larry and tried getting in, but the slots were filled last month. When is the next big way gig around here? I didn't see anything on the TSR site. Clint D-24352
  22. Todd, I just got my gear back after 6 weeks of waiting. I will be there for some big ways. I'll see who else I can bring. Clint D-24352
  23. I saw the interview on the today show and I could tell the student screwed everything up. It's funny how they always twist the facts and the student always comes out looking like they did everything right. Anyway, do most DZs give their students altimeters on Static Line jumps? I did SL progression and never had one. It seems like it would be one more thing to be distracted with. Clint D-24352
  24. Is this Dallas Fort Worth? See picture below...... Thanks
