    Markus, Thanks for the jumps. They were definately fun. It was good to jump with a fun crowd like that and do dives that work the first time.     I did the shooting part of the course tonight and scored a 249 out of 250. I cannot believe that one of my last shots at 45 ft went into the 4 range instead of the 5. Anyway, I was shooting a Beretta 92 FS and I will most likely be carrying either that or the Beretta Bobcat (on occasions). Clint D-24352

    I thought they put tape over your holes because the group was so tight. On your target, the area around the holes is colored differently than the other blue in the target. I thought it was taped. If it wasn't taped, why does it look different? Just curious.

    Can a Sabre 2 120 or Katana 120 fit into a Javelin Odyssey RSK1??? Please don't tell me to look at Sunpath's website, I already have. I specifically would like input from those of you who have a RSK1 with a 120. Is it bulky looking for that container? Is it a bitch to close? Please give me your input. Thanks Clint D-24352

    Diego, So, you got your license? Now you are a certified badass. If you go to Eloy, be careful. It is a whole lot different from El Paso. Ask questions and be aware at all times. There will most likely be 20 or more people in the air at once, so keep your head moving around and you will be fine. As said before, pay attention to the briefing. They may only want you landing east to west in the main landing area regardless of the tetrahedron. If you aren't comfortable with that, land at the alternate area. Also, GET A GOOD GEAR CHECK. You aren't going to be familiar with the rental gear so ask someone to check you out before every jump. Have fun. Clint Chamales D-24352

    This thread has been kind of funny, but I feel that booties aren't the best thing for a student to start out with. They should learn the basics first and become accustomed to various new things one at a time. Anyway, I wanted to write and say that I didn't start to jump a Bootie suit until I had over 600 jumps. Not because I felt I wasn't ready, but because I was flying pretty damn great with my suit without booties and didn't really feel the need. However, once I got my new suit with booties, I noticed the biggest change in my flying for the better. Booties make things a lot easier and really give you extra power on many maneuvers. I can really crank points with this suit and I feel that it is because I learned how to crank points without booties that made it more effective. Just my 2 cents. Clint D-24352

    I normally don't read these long ass articles, but I did (not just because I am in a boring ass class at the moment) and I was impressed. She has a good head on her shoulders and is doing a great job up there. Great article.

    I'm with you. Hooters wings are just fried chicken with sauce on them. They are really pretty shitty. If you want good wings from a chain restaurant, I would say Wings and More or Wingstop. Oh yeah, and they can only be dipped in ranch. Blue Cheese is for senior citizens. Clint D-24352

    Although I have never had ant killer on any of my canopies, I did get some oil from the hanger floor on one. It looked pretty bad so one of the riggers recomended lighter fluid on a paper towel and it came right off. I normally wouldn't use lighter fluid on my canopy, but it worked. Don't try this unless you test it on a small part of the material and I would ask someone like a rigger for suggestions first. Clint D-24352
