That is great information. Thank you. One thing. How much did the whole TSR deal cost? I'll do what it takes, but I was just curious. Thanks again. Clint D-24352

Hey, How much did the whole Texas State Record Cost? Specifically the jumps and registration fees. How many days was it? Clint -
Who should I talk to in Texas to get information on getting on the next state record? Larry Henderson and Larry Hinson come to mind, but who else? Also, give me some pointers on getting on a State Record. What are the do's and dont's? What are the steps in the process? Thanks for any info in advance. Clint D-24352

Texas State Record - my fisrt 100+ way experience
Jethers203 replied to el_chester's topic in Relative Work
Dude that is awesome for having 327 jumps. I actually live in Texas and would love to get on some bigger ways and even records. I have jumped with Larry Henderson before, but I need to get out there and jump with more of the guys in charge. Any other suggestions from anyone? I am in college, but I am totally into RW and Big Ways. All help is appreciated. Clint D-24352 -
Where is the all pink option??? Everyone should have at least one pink parachute in their lifetime for other people to laugh at. I mean, I didn't have one and never will, but you should try it. Chicks dig pink.

I'm not saying you are wrong or not because I wasn't there, but are you sure that it was actually a Team Extreme team member that was giving your friend shit??? I know that they have a lot of people that hang around them so I was just wondering. Team Extreme consists of 4 people. There groupies are another thing. I also wanted to say that I was at this last convention when a couple members of Team Extreme were there and I must say that they were awesome to everyone. They were constantly being bothered to get a picture, autograph, or just to talk, and they were really professional. Just curious to see if it was an actual Team Extreme guy or not. Clint

Early on in this thread I was thinking that I would take it as low as it takes for a friend or family member to live. Then I thought well, my cypres firing will be my limit, but in all actuality, I don't feel very good about my cypres firing while I am head down. That is almost as stupid as taking it all the way. So, I will say this. I would take it low to around 1500' and then get flat and pull my reserve. I have confidence that I could catch someone who is unconscious, but I am not going to kill myself over it. If someone is going to get knocked out on a skydive it will most likely happen between exit and breakoff. I don't know about others, but my breakoff is usually 4000 so that would give me more time than the 9 seconds in other posts. I plan on trying to catch the dummy jumper some day just to see. I knew a guy that had old backpack shoulder straps sewn onto his legstraps. It made the thing way more comfortable for him and wasn't at all noticeable. Clint

Oh, It just says on USPA.org that the competitor cannot be more than 24 years of age at the time of competition. I thought he fit into that because he is 24+, but I wasn't sure if he will have been in the sport for 5 years at the time of compettition. I was just making sure that this was known so it could help him decide. Clint

I am proud to show you this because it happened at in my hometown of El Paso at one of the bridges. Those Border Patrol and Custom guys are on top of there shit. Enjoy. Clint D-24352 PS. This really happened. The dumbshit disguised himself as the seat.

Well, unless collegiates is before you will have been in the sport for 5 years then you can still compete. If it is after and because you are 24 years of age as well as having over 1,000 jumps, you will be ineligible for the competition. I am just saying this in case you didn't already know so maybe it will help you make up your mind. Clint D-24352 PS. Are you a full time student (12 hours or more)? I thought you graduated.

It was too cold at the WFFC for those nips to not be hard. You had to of gotten those pics somewhere else. Clint

Did you jump the PAC at WFFC? Thoughts?

I liked it a lot and would love for my home DZ of 2 182's to get one. About how much does one of those cost??? Clint D-24352 -
Favorite part was my 6 point 12 Way with Roger Ponce. That jump was damn near perfect. I also liked the great RW jumps I did with Lemonhead and meeting more famous skydiving people like Luigi Cani, J.C. Colclasure, Norman Kent, and others. The Wet T Shirt contest was off the hook and I had a blast at all the parties and learned a lot at the seminars. Can't wait for WFFC 2005!!!!! Clint D-24352

Texel is really nice. When I was there they had a Caravan and an Antonov AN-2 (or something), It is a big ass bi-plane, and they had a Let 410 I think.. The people are nice and I am sure you will have fun. Clint D-24352 -

Will there be BIRDMAN coaches and rentals at the WFFC???
Jethers203 replied to Jethers203's topic in Events & Places to Jump
So, I am looking at $100.00 the first jump with an instructor, class, rental, and 2 slots??? After the first jump, do I need to jump with an instructor??? If I don't need an instructor after the first jump, would the price only be $30.00 per jump ($10 for suit rental and $20 for my slot)??? Thanks for the information. Clint -

How close should the site be to your eye???
Jethers203 replied to Jethers203's topic in Photography and Video
Ok, that information is helpful. Thanks. Now, what about when I'm filming something far away? Today after landing, I was filming another jumper land and I was aiming to low. He was about 50 ft away and I didn't even have his canopy in frame. The site is dead on when I am filming, but at further distances it is off. Any help would be appreciated. Clint -

Does anyone have pictures of an Optik with a site extender, swivel clamp, and site????? I just ordered the site setup and I wanted to see how other people have them setup on the helmet. If you don't have pictures, can you describe the best place for the site extender???? All help would be greatly appreciated. Clint D-24352
