Yeah, I went to Bonehead and look at the model. It's too wide for my liking. In fact, it's the exact same size as the Flat Top Pro. The only difference is that they narrowed the top for a front/back combination instead of the side by side factor. I want and need something lighter and a more narrow in the cranium setting. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yes, a 'one piece thing'. A full face helmet. No rachets are detachable pieces. I, for one, would be one of the first in line to buy one. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Last year Sept 11 found alot of us at SDC for our U.S. Nationals. I woke before sunrise and spent the early morning at their pond, thinking and remembering where we all were last year on this date. The sunrise was spectacular, like God was sending a quiet blessing down to the healing souls. I went out to see the sunrise again this morning, coffee in hand...and remembered again what we all mean to each other and how blessed we are to be here and sending love to each other each and every day. Love to all.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Wouldn't it be neat if they made the Optik with a solid chin cup. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Boy I guess, I'll bet he wasn't happy Spoke with Chuck this past weekend about this and he said he wasn't aware of it happening in the air at all! It wasn't until he saw Paul's picture on this NG that he realized what had happened. He's a lurker here...perhaps we should flush him out! He's an expert on all kinds of aircraft....plus a member of the 101st. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Perhaps you miss the point here. Just like one-liners from a movie, when quoted, bring up a mental picture of the scene (or actors) involved...and the scenario that is happening at that moment, these roadway signs stir the conscience for those who have this upbringing and belief. It starts a person thinking, and perhaps brings out their better side. For those who haven't had that upbringing, then it does nothing either good, nor bad. It's just amusing perhaps. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

182's are great for skydiving! You can eat your lunch on the way to altitude, and digest it too before you jump!

Hey, perhaps we can invite them to FL for this year's Nationals! Well, it's an Otter, yeah? I'm sure Lake Wales would LOVE to have the safest Otter in their fleet! PLUS with a 24 seat capacity, the four 4-way teams would be real nice and roomie on their way to 10.5! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

For CReW competition it's explained thus: Sequential: Very much like RW/FS...in that there is a draw from the 'dive pool' of formations that must be done in sequence in a given time....repeat formations (in order) when you have completed the first series. Rotation: 4 competitors, under canopy (of course) make a 4-way stack. When the stack is complete, the top canopy pilot releases the canopy below him/her and maneuvers down to the bottom slot. As soon as that attachment is made, the now new top man/woman can rotate to the bottom of the stack. Each rotation is a point. It too is timed and the most rotations done for the event wins. Speed: 8 canopies deployed out of the plane (think hop and pop as quickly as you can). A selected formation is built with the canopies and when the last person docks, the time stops. The team with the fastest time total at the end of the event wins. It was pure excitement to see the World Record in Rotation broken by the Russian team in Eloy back in 1998! They broke their own record in 1999...and then again in 2000!! No wonder they lead that discipline! (not enough to get me to dive with them, though!! Scarey stuff! ) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yep! SBS has jumped with his as well, and absolutely loves it! Says it can be heard in freefall and itsn't too loud under canopy then either. Just be careful out there, guys, if you decide to follow suit. Something about 'distraction' would make a very sad outcome... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Thanks Lori..but as to a new view on life...someday you and I will sit down and have a discussion. My view from here is rather splendid!

Then why, a year later, hasn't the FAI web site been updated? And why has the Gap, France web site not reflected the 'truth'? Did the French record application stand up to the review by the IPC? Something's not right here. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Bo, Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the world record for 4-way taken by the French team last year? I see it listed as our own U.S. team with a score of 39. Did they take it back, or was France's score of over 40 disallowed? http://www.mondial03.com/ http://www.fai.org/parachuting/records/current.asp?id=1 ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
