Actually, I think you get the right drift of the film itself, RevJim. It caused me to ponder life itself for days after seeing it. Haven't we all longed deeply for something so precious in our own lives? A telescope that looked VERY much like the one you are showing here. It was with a wuffo, and he was protecting it from the HOT sun when we walked by (standing in the shade). My grandfather had a HUGE telescope that we'd look through when we'd visit him. -Loved- to look at the stars and enjoy the out of doors. Ok, so what's your favorite childhood tv cartoon show? I was looking at the DVD's at a store this week and was taken back many years to my favorite one: Speed Racer! Had to have the DVD and enjoyed watching the first 2 episodes ever made this week. Wow, was I surprised by Trixie's stunt! Yeah, I already knew that perhaps this cartoon planted the seed of my loving fast cars and fast driving! But, little did I remember what happened in Epsode 2! Trixie goes skydiving! Well, she bales out of a burning plane, pulls her chute, and exclaims, "I've always wanted to experience a Parachute ride!" I think I would LOVE to stay home tomorrow. The only problem....I have EXACTLY 48 hours of sick time accrued. I'm gonna have to stick it out this time. 48 hours is more than a week, so take advantage of it!

Man, I hate it when people are -so- 'dedicated' to their job that they even come in to work when they're contagiously sick! Hey, if you're sick, STAY AWAY! We've had to convince some patients of this little gem as well. We can't take care of you if you come to us with the flu! (I work in out patient physical therapy). So, be a 'woosie' and stay home! Caught a loosing shoe episode on tape a few months ago. CReW instructor with a newbie on his 2nd CReW jump. Instructor got his shoe stripped off as his student wildly tried to dock and spun away! Happily, the instructor had another exact pair in his car for occurrences such as this...he comes prepared. His name? At 4:30pm, when I got off work today, the temperature was -down- to 107 F! Then by 9:00pm, it had further sunk to 103 F. Guess what I'm wearing at home nowadays... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Now this is freaky. At 1:10pm PST (I live in CA) the hospital where I work had a brief flicker in it's electricity power! It activated the magnetic doors and our equipment APC's started to click on. Then about 30 seconds later, the exact same thing happened again! Our Plan Ops department checked it all out and said it was nothing internal that did it. It had to have come from outside. Then, just tonight I discovered that this power flicker happened at the exact same time as the East Coast outage! Question: What will you be using a computer for? It still holds true (but less than a few years ago) that a pc is better for office work and a mac for graphics work.
