    Actually, they train there in Moscow and many other varied places, depending on the weather and the going price a DZ is charging at the time. They've been known to travel from Siberia to the United Arab Emerites to FL to train. In fact, their National team is one of the few who've been able to train at Fort Bragg's wind tunnel....until SkyVenture was born. They are a great group of skydivers who work very hard at their craft. Their 8-way team even has Excaliber right now. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

    I've just started using earplugs for the ride up to altitude. I -should- have done so MUCH sooner, as IMHO others should as well. I'd know about hearing loss from high decibel sound, but was foolish about just how much an Otter (not to mention the SkyVan) insidiously began to steal a precious sense. I noticed the hearing loss when I tried to take the blood pressure of my patient at work this year. I could NOT hear the heart beat!! I tried again, and was still unsuccessful. This brought home very hard what has permanently happened to my hearing. This could have been prevented, if I had been more astute in protecting my ears.     JP, Forgive me if I've missed the thread....but are you using your digital for student pics now? i.e. Tandem? And if so, how are you handling this differently than those that are using 35mm negatives in your video pool?     Yeah, that camp was pretty HOT! Shooting members of Airspeed, plus the 100+ degree heat we opted to have the camp conducted in. All well worth it and one of the very best years ever, learning and all... Make use of your camera mentors, guys.     Great picture, Paul! I already printed the one from PerrisCam and took it to her today. She's out of surgery and is doing well. It does suck big time that this happened! I was on the same load as Andi and we gave each other the thumbs up before exit. I was astounded when I found out it was our Tuscon Tumbler's team captain that had hurt herself! She was part of that Gold Medal we earned on Saturday....! Heal quick, Andi! We'll have you in the Perris wind tunnel with Christy as your coach as soon as possible.
