Doke, Talked with Paul Moran, skydiver here at Perris, who has a very nice Batrak for sale. I'll send you his e-mail address so you can communicate directly. His internet is down right now and will be back up in about a week. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Body position during three-way
ltdiver replied to skydivermom's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
From a lightweight here, myself. You could try a weight -belt- instead of a weight vest. A weight belt will help you arch where you need to. A weight -vest- pulls your chest down and helps to flatten your arch. Speaking from experience, I could then decrease the amount of lead I had to carry when I did this. (started with a weight vest for several years then switched to a weight belt when my shoulder started to -really- bug me from lugging all that poundage around all day long). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Thanks for your post, Kris. Never knew the 'proper' way to prepare the wine other than open-pour-drink. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Saw Jay just this month here at Perris. He was following up a Coach's Course with an AFFI Course right on it's heels. Yes, he is -still- in remarkable shape and will definitely set a new record (again) this time around. He, -and- his team, were a remarkable thing in action last time he set the record at Elsinore. Multiple packers, timers, judges, pilots, tag-teams, runners, maintenance, the DZ, etc etc etc. You have to see this poetry in motion to even -try- to understand it. It's more teamwork than most pro teams put into a year to make it happen. All in one night. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Now you're speaking my language. I didn't even know they made milkshakes......thanks. Now I am really screwed. Actually, when my nutritionist was counseling me on how to -gain- weight, she said to eat ice cream! Now I know where to go! Thanks for cluing me in. I -love- Cold Stones. Didn't know they made milk shakes! Yum!

http://www.strongparachutes.com/stratoquest.html Cheryl's still planning on making the trip but has had many delays along the way. Listen to her on Skydive Radio. She was interviewed a few weeks ago. Remarkable woman. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I'm on a Mac too. Just 'highlight' the area below his visable text and it'll flush out the white text. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Well, after days of researching the internet (discussion forums, etc), as well as talking with Product Specialists at Sony, I decided that nothing could be done to fix this obvious error on Sony's part. Faulty workmanship in their new product. (I had bought 3 different GX315's and they -all- had the same problem when importing via firewire). I took the last one back to where I bought it and found where I could get the older version (which, btw, has received raving reviews on the forums). The GX300. It doesn't have an iLink, but has all the others. Analogue (of course), S-Link, and Composite. It also has alot of other nice features that were left out of the GX315. The 300 also has a crisp picture on screen, something that the 315 lacked as well. Sony is coming out with a GX330 this month. I hope they've fixed the problems of the GX315 or I'd stay away from this one too! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Take a look at the top of this thread.

Pictures (and description) of the GX315's insides. Toshiba Samsung?! http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=279460&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=77 ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yes, I bought another firewire -just- in case this was the issue. Sadly it wasn't. Nothing fixed. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Well, I'm stumped. I posted this same message on the ecoustics forum to try and get some answers. I'll post it here too in hopes that I'll be educated on how to fix this aggravating hiccup with my new DVD Recorder. Here's what I wrote, if you don't want to click on the other forum link: Help? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Even though I hate Cingular (for other reasons), they always transfer everything from my old phone (and SIM card) to a new one for me. For free. Ah, the days of having to manually transfer everything by hand.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Besides the DVD camera not being a good choice to withstand freefall, take a look at THIS THREAD where compression ratios are discussed. I'll take the miniDV tape over DVD any day. No compression and better quality of picture. btw, try the "Search" function on this site instead of "Google" next time. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Might want to update some of those.

Oh, so -that's- the problem! I hung up my camera to go do some freeflying...Having some problem sticking the head-down.... I should put the camera -back- on and I'd be stylin'! Thanks for the tip, flea!

Someone had a very pretty red one for sale a couple of weeks ago at Perris. If he's there this next weekend I'll direct them to this thread. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
