HE me and a friend are beginning skydivers and we are going on vacation to curacau (dutch antillen) and i want to know if there is a dropzone in that neibourhood

I have looked everywhere for goggles with yellow frames. I would really like the blaze model from Sorz, but another 'two-eyepiece' frame would work. I know they exist as they were on the front page of Parachutist (Nov. 2000, I think). The only people that even came close were Aerostore, who said they could get them and then their vendor backed out. Does anyone have ideas? Thanks

You are right about that some girls look good with tattoos. Like I said, there's an ex that had two and they were sweet! But, I can't think of any 80 yr olds that don't really show their age. I guess that the whole "I'm 20 and I'm going to show my true self" thing is kind of something that only 20-somethings go through. Because when you are 42 and trying to move ahead in your career (too be able to jump more), a tattoo just doesn't say "I'm qualified". And, just like aviatrr said, "visual tattoos are highly frowned up". I think that this theory holds true in many careers. Although, if you are going to do something where it doesn't matter, then, hey, go for it. But like I said before, I am glad that my wife isn't mutilated. I love her just the way she is:)

I wouldn't mention skydiving on an application if I were you. Those who don't really understand it may interpret your interest in this sport as irresponsible "risk-taking" behavior. Let them know AFTER you've gotten the job about all the great ways your hobby benefits your performance at work ... decision making, safety checks, love of life, etc.

I guess it all depends on the guy, but for me females with tattoos and piercings are a turn off. I love looking at just skin.

That was an awesome story, Kel! Good thing you didn’t have to stay grounded cause of the little money mix-up, if that happened to me, I would have been pissed! I love how you said “I’m gonna kick this jumps ass!”, I’m gonna try that, maybe swat the damn door butterflies down a little. And when you saw your JM out in front of you, ain’t that the coolest?! I’m sooooooo jump horny now! Sound like you did an awesome job with the maneuvers, and a good job staying out of the trees too! I’m glad that other girl was alright. BTW, feet then belly? It’s been awhile, but I remember being trained PLFs a little different !! Sorry, just givin ya shit, my version was feet, elbow, side of face. My pride hurt worse than my face, though! Boogie at Langar sounds good....unless you fancy Hinton in June...we've got shit loads of planes, huge Let 410 with a massive door, great for 4-way....And girls-a-go-go. Of course, the Playtex jump (for breast cancer charities) scheduled around that time won't attract plety of offers for videos, and no perving is expected from the camera guys...;)

To all who have responded or written me personally, I want to thank you for the positive feedback. I hastily posted the essay without edits and Sangiro is graciously correcting the mistakes on the Feature Column as they're discovered. Wingi For the Langar dates I only meant a weekend as well. I just meant we could pick either one of the weekends at the beginning or end of the boogie. I will be there both weekends, but will happily pick you up at Stansted if you can get one of those cheap ryanair deals. /s [drop till you party!]

Hey Josh, this part you wrote I can really identify with. Some of most important people in my life congratulated me on mundane acomplishments, but when it came to showing them my skydive photos and video they didn't have a word to say. What a let down... I mean, I think skydiving was probably one of , if not the greatest barrier I've overcome in my life. (Getting my A licence is #2!
