At couch freaks every year there are people drinking all day. Now while I don't jump with anyone who has been drinking during the day, it's kind of hard to tell at the loading tent if I'm on a load with someone who has. Fly it like you stole it!

I have a really tiny hand (wear kids small-med gloves) and my digitude is much lighter than Derek's alti. As for size, they are about the same, but the digitude is much thinner. I'll take a picture of it on my hand tonight when I get home. I'll also take a picture of my hand on something common sized like a sheet of paper or something so you can get an idea of the size of my hand. As for being harder to read, well, my brain works better with digital, I have trouble reading analog watches, I mean I can read them but I can't just glance and it clicks, I really have to look at it. You know I think we had one come threw our loft not to long ago, I'll have to check the computer to see if I can find it. Of course on the other hand we had Javelin S/N 16 come threw our loft so we do get a lot of really old and even some really odd gear. Fly it like you stole it!

Where's the non-political one? I wanna go there! Eloy! Eloy has it's share of politics also, but due to the size and the amount of people who go threw there who aren't local whatever politics there are are usually hidden. Try going to a smaller DZ where there is a group of 20-30 regulars and very few visitors, then tell me there aren't politics. Just wait till you want to get on one of the "cool" loads and because you don't have 2000 jumps they laugh in your face. I'm actually really lucky, I can't remember ever not being able to get on a load I wanted to (well until I moved here that is), but I've seen it happen over and over again to people at every DZ and boogie I visit. maybe you could take that step out. i know that's how i used to pack the studend rigs at my dad's old place because they where pretty tight. and make sure you are rolling it really tight, they may help too. later That is how I started to pack mine after I was having hard pulls when going from a cordura BOC to a spandex BOC.....I used to think the same thing that it was to loose and would come out, but it isn't an issue at all. Stuff everything in just leaving only the monkey fist exposed and have never had a problem. Fly it like you stole it!

Why can't we all just get along? How many times have we seen the my DZ is better than your DZ battles on here. I've even seen people do it who haven't been to the other DZ, just repeating what others at their home DZ have told them because they don't want to be labeled as not loyal or not part of the cool crowd. How many times have you yourself been labeled as "not loyal" or as a "traitor" for going to another DZ? How about made uncomfortable and made to feel not welcome when you go back to your 1st DZ, after being on a team or working at DZ2? How about if you have moved to a new DZ and since you are an outsider and don't jump the same kind of gear as everyone else you are constantly harassed about it? (i.e. higher wingload due to more progressive previous DZ, not the popular DZ container) Then when you go to another DZ where maybe someone will jump with you and not constantly make you feel like you have to prove yourself, rumors are started that you hate the 1st DZ. In the last year I've seen all of the above happen so many times it makes me sick to my stomach. One of my best friends has quit because of it, and there wasn't a single thing I could think of to say to her to make her change her mind because....well.....it's been all I could do to convince myself to keep jumping. (which I'm not doing a very good job of) So why must we go at eachothers throats and stab eachother in the back? Why feel the need to talk bad about DZs, espeically ones you have never been to? Why give DZs more importance than just a ride to altitude, because from what I've seen is all we are to a DZ is $20. Fly it like you stole it!

Hey after you get everyone to quit with the war stuff, can you get rid of those damn reality TV shows....if I see one more I'm going to scream!!! Fly it like you stole it!
