We had a long thread about this awhile back, and it comes down to the length of the MLW. Mine is really short and the whole pull it over your head like a t-shirt left me stuck with Derek laughing his ass off. Luckly he didn't take a picture before he helped me back into the rig. Amusing idea. Now, how many pop-up ads do I have to endure while hunting for NSFW pictures of boobies with computers to post for our cause? It would be so much better if we just got some of our lovely folding ladies to take some pictures of their own. After all, a skydiving hottie posed next to a folding farm would be more appropriate for this forum. So a bikini clad chick wearing a rig draped over a PC is all you need.....right? well you are only hurting yourself for not replacing them after 500 jumps. I know a JM who had over 500 (don't know the exact number) on his set of batteries, chased a student low, pulled for her then pulled for himself, I was at 1500ft and saw him fall way past me before deploying his main. (he said he was in the saddle at 600 feet) He cypres did not fire. This was not a malfunction of the cypres, his batteries were really that low. Fly it like you stole it!

why yes he did pack the reserve himself. Actually he has an intentional cutaway rig set up with 2 mains and 1 reserve. He has about 50 intentional cutaways. As for damage I think there were some line burns from the one that cleared, but this main is not used as a real main and is only used to be cutaway. Fly it like you stole it!

There is an insert button . it's the little button with a + and an arrow pointing toward some lines. Fly it like you stole it!

One was packed to see if he could cut the steering line that was cause. Spin was to violent and even though he knew exactly what line to cut he couldn't do it. 2nd one cleared itself. 3rd one (steering line tied to an A line) was to get shots of a line over for a video, and spun pretty hard. All 3 were on a PD170. Fly it like you stole it!

It really is the Saturday thing that is hard, work 10 hrs (soon to be 12) on Saturdays then get up at 5 am to get to the DZ on sunday morning. Reason I didn't go down yesterday (besides the high winds) is someone called me at 12:30 and I was on the phone till 2am, getting up at 5 was not an option. Fly it like you stole it!

Yeah, I'm starting to lean towards not going unless I can find a plane ticket for under $200. They were at $177, but Derek wouldn't tell me for sure if he was going or not, so now they are back up over $250. Oh well, we were only told at work we can't take vacation June-Aug, so maybe something will be going on in Sept, cause the way it looks I won't be able to even get 50 jumps this year. You know I really hate jumping in Colorado especially since I work Saturdays. Fly it like you stole it!

The new version of the omega is the omni, and both canopies are in the same class as the spectre. It will also have the icarus toggle stroke which is longer than the PD stroke. Not an issue though, it has plenty of flare and it's easy to get use to the longer stroke. Fly it like you stole it!

Well I didn't like the way da'kine did it where they just sew the hook to one side (only half the hook is sewn down) then you lay the loop on top of that, then wrap the rest of the hook velcro that is just flapping on top of it. Now I like the sandwich idea, but I didn't like seeing the top part of the hook velcro, so I made it so it was covered by material on both side. It looked good, but by the time I get to that part of the pant, I'm ready for them to be done. Fly it like you stole it!
