  1. I have read the Bible and mnay other texts. I studied different religions trying to find mine. While I have read the Bible, I find it funny that a religion places it as fact. It is a book written by men trying to promote something. Men tend to spin things. It has been translated by people who have spun it. It is the first self help book every written. But to claim it is "fact" when several of the stories were in other cultures long before they supposedly took place in the Bible. It is a self help book. It is not a history book. 2. Let it go...Recount after recount proves your statements wrong. And his clear victory in the last election just strengthens that point. Really Moveon(.org) "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  3. My range is 640 acres of land. About 5 miles from my house. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  4. In this country you are innocent till proven guilty. So an indictment should not make you step down. That rule should have never been put into place. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  5. It is funny when lame conspiracy theories go to shit huh? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  6. For the record I work with the United Way, March of Dimes and the American Diabetes Associaton all year. These are organizations that do good work helping those that through no fault of their own need help. I don't feel the need to brag about good things I have done. I don't need to have anyone approve of my deeds. You never answered why I should be willing to support you while you go to school. I help those that try to help themselves, or that really can't. Someone blowing off work so they can go to school and expecting me to support them does not qualify. 7. No I asked you a question on who you thought who the US should help more, US citizens or other countries citizens. And if you thought that we should spend more to help the victums over there, and neglect our people here if you can't do both. 8. So you blame me for not taking that bet? Silly This is the end. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  9. You have said you are unwilling to work. Except you candy coat it and blame it on others. Why should I help you to go to school? I'd help keep you from starving if you were trying to work. but if you choose to blow off work in favor of studying, why should I pay to support you? You are not my child, I don't have to send you to school. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=913544#913544 Just becasue you don't see it does not mean it does not happen. 10. Yes as in I bet you will reply to me. You added a 1,000 price to it. Only a fool would bet 1,000 on the other persons opinion. When I offored you the same deal you didn't reply. Afraid? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  11. Prerequisites, no. Proof of, Yes. Tell that to people with an MBA in your job interviews. No, but lying under oath is perjury and shows what kind of man he was. And the war on terror...Don't get me started on what Clinton fucked up on. He could have stopped this, but he choose to ignore it. Don't forget we had more attacks on Clintons watch than under Bush...And 9/11 was planned while Clinton was in office. Go fish. 12. They didn't DIRECT him, they allowed him. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  13. When your bet was on your word, no proof...Yes. I also offered a counter bet that you failed to take. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  14. Well lets see...The Supreme Court has not stepped in, and Congress has not voted to impeach the President....So the two methods of checking the Prez have not been used.... Like I said, legal. You might want to read our Constitution before you try to play this game. They are not, but you need to know WHAT you are saying before you claim something. You have failed to provide proof that it was illegal. Congress and the Supreme Court ahve not done anything to say it was illegal. Get over it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  15. I'm still trying to decide if its worth my time since I question your desire to get a job. You have stated several times that you don't want a job and you have tried to blame everthing but your own desire to not have one. Do I want to put my name on you if I doubt your desire to work? Is your work ethic going to make me look bad? If you claim that you can't have a job due to the Economy, your school schedule...ect why should I waste my time? Give me one reason to take a chance on you. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  16. Well they should get off their lazy asses and get a job. I am willing to help when they need it, but I don't want to support them for life, or just hand over money to a bunch of lazy people just to be nice. I have no problem helping, but I am not into supporting lazy people just cause I can. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  17. I have a copy thanks...And we followed it. You still need a dictonary. Congress approved the use of force. That makes it legal. You may not like it, but get over it. I understand the Constituition better than you do. Congress is supposed to be in place to check the powers of the President (The Supreme Court also checks both Executive and Congress and they it.). In this case Congress gave the power to use force to the President and he used it. The Supreme Court has also not stepped in. So it is legal, you may not like it, but you not liking it does not mean it was illegal. Get over it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  18. You blamed the economy. Then you say things like All I said is you are unwilling to work. And you admit it. You are unwilling to work. I have even said that thats OK...But you still would rather blame other things for your lack of wanting to work. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  19. So the talk of people dying here due to not having medical care is just talk? We have people dying int he US, people starving in the US. You would rather help others before your neighbors? Now I am not saying that we should not help...we should, because we can. But I find it funny that you support helping them over helping ourselves. We are atalking about the UN. The UN does great when the answer is to spend others money. But it lacks the strength to do what it says, and the integrity to not steal. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  20. OK so where is my statement that Congress Voted to use force not true? They gave the President the power to use force. Makes it legal in the as far as the US in concerned. Congress gave the President the right to use force...And he used force. You can play word games about the word "War" all you like. 1. Congress voted to allow the President to use force. 2. He used it. 3. We are now in an armed Conflict that the definition of "War" fits. Korea, Vietnam were not declared, but I bet that anyone there calls them that and my history book calls them wars as well. Bosnia, Kosovo, Rwanda ect were not declared either. But I know several folks that call them wars. Well then they are to blame for not doing the right thing. Bush did what he thought was the right thing. If you disagree fine, but to blame him when Congress allowed it is silly. Congress is supposed to keep the Prez in check. Instead the wussed out prefering to get re-elected. They failed. Then they should have said so...Then, not now. They did screw up....They voted to do something without the fortitude to satnd behind it out of fear of losing their job. Their job I might add is to keep the Prez in check. If they failed to do that in favor of a paycheck then they are stupid and greedy. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  21. Whose lives? Everyones? Don't you think that we have people in need here in the US? Don't you care about them? Or would you rather we have a 60% tax and just give out money to the world? OK cool as long as you cut affermative action money, and the endowments to the arts. If you are gonna cut. Cut evenly and fairly. They ignor eme anyway thena bunch of folks jump my shit for not minding my own business. And you will never admit that the UN talks big but failed to deliver on Iraq. Actually I did say that the UN was good at this kind of thing. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  22. Yes but in the same post you claim to know what the US Congress meant. Like I said Lame. How many times do we have to show you that he had plans for WMD programs that were against the very UN resolution that you claim worked? Or how he kicked out the inspectors in 98? He never complied and that alone is reason enough to remove him. Just as you are claiming they did not mean force. If they did not mean force then they are stupid to write it so it could be read that way. Well they voted for the use of force. Read that as you want, but they DID VOTE TO ALLOW THE PRESIDENT TO USE FORCE....It is written clear as day. Until you can see the truth behind the lefts spin. They allowed the use of Force...Clear and simple. Even you can admit it: You can buy the spina ll you want. they gave him the right to use force...They allowed the use of force. He used it. If they didn't want him to use force then they should have ricked their jobs at the next election to vote against it. They didn't they gave him the right to use force.... get over it, it is that simple. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  23. #1. Me saying we are at war is about as law making as me saying Chocolate Milkshakes are the drink of The US. I do like how you base US policy on what I personally think. #2. My saying we are at war is based on the fact that we have two factions killing each other...To be honest we are no longer at war. We were at war till Saddam was grabbed. We are now in a state of support for the new nation that will be in Saddams vacancy. And you just can't get over the fact that we are fighting there due to Congress allowing it. Like it or not Congress gave the Prez that power. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  24. Well there is a start. That is the lamest back peddle ever. Sanctions that didn't work for 12 years? If the UN didn't mean war, then they should have said that BEFORE it was popular. If the UN didn't mean to use force, but wrote it so that it could mean it...Then they are even more stupid than I think. So they DID? That is your opinion. Then they are stupid. Or more likely they wrote it so they could later back peddle if something didn't work out. Bush should ahve made them say EXACTLY what they would allow...His fault for not making them make a real choice. You can't say what the UN meant, but you can assume what the Congress meant? It is really simple. The US Congress voted to use force. If they didn't want the use of force they should have voted against it. If they wanted to temper the amunt of force...They should have done it then. Not write a blank check and then bitch about what was filled out. They gave GWB the right to use force...It is as simple as that. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  25. They never did declare war. They instead used bullshit word games to act like they supported the situation while it was popular, but gave them a way out if it turned unpopular later. We don't have to "Declare War" to be at war. Again Congress gave him the right to use force. He used force. You can call it what you want, but the situation we are in is legal since the Congress gave him the power to use force. If you think so press charges. He went to combat with approval of Congress. Get over that. If he didn't have approval, he would not have been able to do it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
