  1. The creation of an Israeli state by forcing it on the local population given the religious conflict was not a good idea. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  2. I find it funny that they give less, but will slam us for not giving more than we do. I do find it funny that we give more, but get the most shit for not giving enough. That is a fucked up way to think. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  3. The economic/social situation is a breeding groud for terrorists. However, I doubt handing out money after a disaster will do much. Like I said terrorists and not likely to give us credit for helping. They need to not live like shit ALL the time, not just get aid once. If a kid has an Xbox, they are less likely to go outside with a bomb. See I can disagree with Bush. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  4. Minding our own business includes not handing out money. Nice Personal Attack! If you can't keep from atacking me with blatant insults...don't expect me to care what you write. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  5. No, not really. But thanks for playing. You wrote an exact line from another and claimed it was your own. Call it what you want, but in school you would get an "F" for that. But if you sleep better thinking otherwise...Fine. Like I said, Thanks for playing, but I see no need to discuss anything with someone like that. So good day. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  6. No not really. To quote the Bible...Its been a while so bear with me... Galations 6:16 (I think like I said its been a while) Faith without works is dead. But thanks for playing today. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  7. Not ducking the question. I answered every question you asked. Pretty much. I think the Founding Fathers gave us the right to protect ourselves from each other, animals and yes, the Government. I also support the other Amendments. That means the right to fuck who you want, and say what you want, and pray how you want as long as you don't affect other people in a negative way. Then it becomes a public issue. Sorry you can't see that. Nice personal attack. Yeah, cause its in the Constitution. Cool huh? 8. A lot of my comments are absurd...Stick around I might do a trick later I respect your opinion. And yes these types of dogs could do lots of damage. However, the worse dog attack I have personal knowledge of was from a Dalmation. I also have plenty of good experiences with Pits, Rot, and Dobbies. I had a roomate and he had a Pit. My wife was afraid of it, and I had my doubts. We had two dogs already a Lab and a mutt. The Pit was a fabulous dog. The only problem I had with it was it wanted to sit on my lap when I sat down. It was affectionate, gental and never gave me an ounce of trouble. It was then that I learned that it is how an animal is rasied that decides how it reacts. The problem is that these are strong dogs, and they can do more damage than other breeds... This leads me to think that they need more attention than other breeds. That is not a problem for many owners. However some people buy these dogs as possesions and have them as status symbols. They don't train them (or if they do, they train them to be agressive). These are the dogs/owners that are the problem...Not the dog itself. A dog is a large responsibility. Some people are not responsible enough to own a poodle, but they want a pit. That should not be allowed. But a resposable dog owner should be allowed to have this type of dog. I have no problem making it so that you have to have training to have this type of dog....As long as the training is doable. I however also think you should prove you have training before you should have a kid....Of course thats not gonna fly either. In the end, I think the breed gets a bad rap due to the jackass owners. 9. Pit Bulls are not protected under the Second Amendment....In fact I don't see any dogs or pets mentioned in the Constitution or in the Bill of Rights. So as for guns. No. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  10. Except others get hurt with a gun/Pit. Regulations, not a ban. I also have said several times that a low timer that can show they have the skills needed should be allowed to jump what they want. I would have no problem having a person PROVE he can handle a Pit before he gets one. No double standard.....go fish. Most large dog breeders will same the same thing about any large dog. I know a breeder that says that about toy poodles. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  11. Dennis Rook never posted either. Edit...Who cares? Also maybe HH should set a standard of rules....Seems stupid, but it would stop all the BS dead. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  12. Ok fair. OK. Yes, they were told that, but did they do it? Ya mean just like the Dems did in 2000? Look it seems that she won. Great, but are you saying that the Republicans don't have the right to question it? Cause while it seems clear she won fair, denying the right of due process in this case seems unfair. What would the media be like if the parties were reversed? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  13. Yes, but he will get away with it....Just like always. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  14. I answered your question here: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1409690#1409690 But you ignored it since it came from me. Funny when you can't defend your position you resort to those kinds of tactics. Fine. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  15. My point is for people to stop blaming the breed. It is how they are raised that makes them mean...Yes the fact that they are stong makes them more dangerous if they are rasied wrong. But that does not mean they should be outlawed. Your opinon, but I don't expect you to admit a double standard. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  16. Simple Pit Bulls are given a bad rap by the media, and so are guns. Since both get bad raps they don't deserve, and both have people wanting to ban them based on that...They are related. You claim that dogs can be bred bad, but humans can't...That is a double standard. Your claiming that Pits are bred to be bad is silly when you claim that Getto's are the reason people are poor. I think its environment that cause both bad dogs and poor people. You claim its whatever makes your point at the time. I find that funny. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  17. #1. you are not green. #2. Why are you jumping me when I didn't start this. #3. It is my opinion that a large portion of the world jumps the US's shit any chance they get and never bothers to see we do more good than a number of them combined. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  18. You claim that a pit bull can be dangerous....So can a gun. And both have been given a negative spin from the media. Does that apply to humans also? Is my question...One which you danced around. If you think a dog can be bred bad, can a person also be bred bad? This tends to say you believe in nature...But not in humans. I find that strange. They are very related. It goes to show how you hold double standards. Its ok to have a gun even though it is designed to kill, but a dog bred to be a fighter is bad. Dogs can be bred to be violent, kind, loving, smart, or helpful, but you think humans can't. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  19. In response to his statement "That does not mean that the US was not founded on Christain (sic) beliefs." Is a valid answer. Notice the ....does NOT mean the ..... in there? Just because they wanted to prevent the Church running the State, or the State running the Church does not mean they were not Christian, and they did not base the Nation on their beliefs...Which just happen to be Christian. I can agree that the intent was not to have the Church run the Government, or the Government run the Church. But it is quite clear that this Nation was founded on Christian Principals... Using the Bible to swear in our offices. Using the Bible to swear in witnesses. Even later when "In God we Trust" was put on our money. Or "One Nation under God" was added to our pledge. Or how you claim the "religious right" put Bush into office. So a Government of the people is going to include the religion of those people. And as you like to say that Adams Treaty stated that we are not based on Christianity, he himself mentioned Christianity in his oath of office. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  20. And handguns are only designed to kill. The breed was bred to be strong and yes to fight. But that does not mean that it HAS to fight. I find it funny that you have several times claimed that we should look at each person as an individual and that some people are poor because of their upbrining...But also claim that another animal is "bred bad". Which is in nature or nurture? I say its nurture for both, but in one case you agree, but in another claim its nature. People and dogs are not born bad, they are raised that way. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  21. Another framer of the Constitution "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  22. Ok but the IS a very simple corelation between religion and the laws of this land. Ok so they were not engraved...Uh anyone else know what Moses held on two tablets? I don't, but then again Im not Christain, so I could have missed it. Like? Anyone? Bueler? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  23. Right or wrong....The fact is the US was founded on religous Principals....Now I am not religious, but I can clearly see that. What is wrong with admitting something so clear and evident? This country has done a fair job of keeping the church from running the government...And that was the intent of the Founding Fathers. But to claim that there were no religious undertones at the inception of this nation is quite strange. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  24. I'm not either. I am just saying that some people like miniature poodles or cats, and some like Labs, dobbies or Pits. Some people like blue, some like red. I personally like Labs...But a friends Dobbie is fantastic, and another friend has a Rottweiler that I would love to have. A roomate of mine had a Pit, and it was a great dog till it was hit by a car. The kindest most gental dog I have ever seen was a Rottwieler. The next was a Dobbie. Its not the breed, its how there were raised...The most vicious I have seen? A Dalmation. it took a kids ear right off. Then the problem is the owner, not the dog. 25. The US will help, like it always has. Then the world will bitch about how the US could have done more even when they did more than anyone else. The World will bitch about how the US could have done it better... Basicly the world will bitch about the US as normal just like always. So the US gave 15.8 Billion last year. And that does not include any donations by private people. Japan was second, but a FAR second with 6.9 Billion behind. And still people bitch about the US. Also for all of those that hate the US and Bush No matter how much we give...6.9 BILLION more from our government than anyone else, and untold Billions on top of that. People are gonna bitch that we are "stingy" and don't help. It kills me. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
