That thought is just sick and wrong! Vicki

I'm so with you on that. I m violently allergic to mushrooms and nothing pisses me off more than unexpectedly finding them in my food. Uggggghhhhh! Fungus is evil! Vicki

Isn't that why camera phones were invented?! Vicki

Have you checked the online member checker? Does that have you as a renewed member yet? If not, you won't be able to jump anywhere else until your card arrives (mine still hasn't...). I found the whole process exceptionally frustrating this year. Vicki

Just wondering... Mine were that it was a complete shambles. Their online membership checker was not working on Friday morning and no BPA card had yet arrived in the post so I called the BPA office to request that they fax something over to me to confirm that I had paid so that I could jump this weekend. I was informed that they had a large backlog because, (my emphasis), "WE didn't come back after Easter until Wednesday.". I'm sorry, but they have one big deadline during the year when their processing (or not) of membership on time affects the entire British skydiving population, in whose best interests they should be acting. Whilst I wouldn't want to deny the hard working BPA staff a holiday day that was due to them, I am sure that none of us would get away with taking a day off (after a 4 day bank holiday weekend!) straight before an important deadline! I wonder whether the impact on renewals was considered when this was authorised? Or do they just not care? Eventually, late on Friday I received a faxed confirmation that my membership had been renewed and was able to jump this weekend. I checked the online membership checker this morning and it shows my membership to have expired, despite the fact that I have a faxed confirmation from them that my 2005/06 membership has now been processed. I am incredibly unimpressed. Vicki

Nigel - how many guys do you have doing the jumps? Vicki

The one labelled Vicki is not me! I don't think you have any pics of me... Vicki

:3:0 3 v enjoyable jumps on Saturday. 2 of them one on one coaching dives and the last one was taking someone on their first 3-way! Good fun. Got to bed at 6.20am on Sunday owing to epic drinking session. Spent most of Sunday sleeping it off! Vicki

I dunno... have you?!

Congratulations! First freefall is an amazing feeling and you will never forget how scared you were beforehand or the sense of achievement afterwards. Here's to many more...

Any news on this Liz? Vicki

:3:0 3 jumps on Friday then had to go to a wedding on Saturday, typical bank holiday weather on Sunday and then spent Monday working in my garden...

I gave up caffeine about 3 weeks ago - I have replaced my numerous caffeine based drinks with water and herbal tea. I felt like complete crap for the first week with headaches, inability to focus on anything etc. for but I now feel so much better!

1000+ jumps, Spectre 135, loading 1.2ish Just had the Spectre re-lined (with dacron Tony!) because I don't feel the need to downsize and with only 500 jumps on 135s I am nowhere near ready to downsize anyway!

Happy Birthday Darcy! Vicki

Ordered mine too!!!!! Vicki

Cheers - not so keen on flip phones myself. My phone lives in my handbag and a larger phone is easier to find when it rings!
