    Bill, I would certainly not want to try such an experiment. The results could be a disaster. If we are going to try and cool the planet, we need be very sure of what we are doing. I believe our top priority is to eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels. We seem to be making progress, but at a painfully slow rate. Dave Fallschirmsport Marl

    Depends on the laser. My wife would have had to wait four weeks for one type of laser, only two weeks for the other. The other is only available in Germany and Switzerland. The better the laser, the less time you have to wait. Dave Fallschirmsport Marl

    If am crazy enough to hijack an airplane, I am sure I would be crazy enough to jump. I reckon he did a clear and pull at 10,000 ft. Then he spent the next few hours riding the storm up and down and landed hundreds of miles from where he jumped. Someone found the dead body with parachute and money.     It seems to me, that a poll that is entirely voluntary and where you do not know who is answering, is a waste of time. A bit like this poll really. But come on, asking questions about triangles and rocks from mainly skydivers only really tells you how crazy people are, who jump out of perfectly good airplanes. Polling people here about skydiving activities is also a bit lame, unless you know something about the experience of the people who answer. But what the hell, it's all fun and games here on SC.     No, I don't think so. We have a vague idea of what is happening and we keep getting new surprises as time goes on. I was only talking about the science, not the hype. You know, like things that can be measured. We can measure how much more radiation will be absorbed due a doubling of CO2 to 460 ppm. What we are still pretty crap at is deciding what that actually means in terms of climate. The only way the hype gets the disaster senario is with a myraid of feedbacks. The hype is costing people vast amounts of money that would be better used to find a clean and plentiful energy source to replace fossil fuels. Dave Fallschirmsport Marl

    How the hell do you expect to find the new TM's to replace the ones that retire? This pisses me off, my DZ will try to get the new skydivers to progress to what ever level they want to.     This is why I have given up on debating AGW and the likes on the internet. I have even gone to the lengthts of not debating (discussing) things I do know something about on the net. What you are basically saying is that what you read on the net is not peer reviewed not published by people with knowledge and as such should be taken with a pinch of salt. Therefore, after what I have read on the net, I will start to teach the 45 degree rule for exit seperation. After all, what I have read on the net can only be produced from money grabbing dropzones.
