I have pillows for my cutaway handles and on 2 rigs I have a metal res. handle and the other I have a pillow. I always recommend metal handles to new jumpers in case they have their first mal on low # of jumps, sensory overload, can't see their handles, etc. They can feel the difference though. After that, I just think it's preference. My .02

Yes, Miracle and those loose reserve risers....make your rigger repack it right so that there is no play.

Broken nose from a canopy collision. Right shoulder surgery from taking a hit in freefall. TONS of bruises from CRW. All worth it! -

And I don't think regulation will make stupid people smarter. Now, people do what they want to do regardless of current regulations. I just think it will be another rule for people to break. This sport used to be full of freedom. IMO, Do what you may and cover your actions! That goes for ALL aspects of skydiving.

I have that option on my Jav/CRW rig but I still use the belt. I found that the weights dig into your back.
