I wouldn't get too worked up over your 'not wanting to jump' feeling. IMO, the bug to jump comes in cycles. If you get the feeling back...jump...if not....don't jump! -

Definitely bring your CRW rig to Florida. There are many crew dawgs out there. Not to mention, every crew dog I've met has been more than willing to take up a novice...under one condition..you must have fun!!

I always do a quick gear check before putting on my rig...only takes a few seconds after you've been doing it for a while. Always do a handle check in the plane to make sure they are still in place and didn't come out or are loose. I love this quote: "Nobody ever died from a pin check" - unknown

Geeze...When I first started jumping, I quickly became maxed out!!!! oops!!! However, if I could do it all over again, I would have been a lot more responsible with my money. I've spent the last couple years "catching up." There is that skydiving bug that gets you in the beginning. It got me for a few years! There is not much money to be made in this sport to last the duration. IMO, if I just started jumping....I'd take out a loan...instead of putting it on my cc. Open a CD, etc. You either pay now....or pay later! -
I chose swimming. was on a swim team when I was younger, in public school. However, the only other sport I participate in is fishing!!

I have a cypress in my FF rig....but not in my CRW rig...I'd rather take my chances...The cons outweigh the pros, imo

Yup, you got it! Hit the nail right on the head....I totally need to lighten up. I'm still recuperating from surgery and haven't jumped in way too long....so yes....I really do need to lighten up.

No need for the "dig." I'm doing it right, alright...It's just my preference as you have yours. To each his own. Maybe you need to get on some better skydives!!
