    It Amazes me the IDIOTS that will ignore my 4 Beware of Dog signs on my fence. (2 one the gate, one on each side) My bet is , she hated dogs to start with, and entered with gun drawn! Quote I hope you don't gamble much. During my career I had to shoot several dogs for various reasons. I also investigated several others as a supervisor. They all were unfortunate but all justified. I'm an animal lover but, not a chew toy for someone elses dog. One of my officers, a small female, actually let a dog bite her before she shot it, she didn't want to shoot the dog. In the ones I did, i'd do the same thing again. As far as 911 hang-up's go, it's the duty of the agency to check the welfare of the caller.     They were part of a Task Force of local, state, and federal agencies. We (the local SWAT team) handled the tactical part of the raid, they and other agencies handled post raid details, money, paperwork, ledgers, etc. ***It wouldn't be appropriate for them to be under equipped in such activities. I would question it if they were doing these on their own.*** I'm sure they do raids in conjunction with other agencies, (in our area they didn't) in these cases the entry guns would be appropriate.     When does the IRS conduct raids, rather than involve LE agencies like ATF, FBI, or the locals? Should the IRS be doing these at all?*** I've been on several tactical raids where the IRS has been present ( I was a local type SWAT guy). The IRS does initiate it's own investigations, some of them involve violent criminals. One of the best ways to get oraganized crime types is tax-evasion related. These guys deserve the best tools available, the 870 entry gun is excellent. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

    Yep, I carried one of those for a long time. John, please don't make your pro Second Amendment posts look so whiney. The enforcement branch of the IRS are sworn LEO's. Like the IRS or not, doesn't look like they are going away anytime soon (I wish we'd go value-added or flat tax though). Much todo about nothing. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

    If you're going to demagogue other people's positions in the discussion, there's no point to having the discussion. *** If you want to punt okay, but it's a valid point. Some choose to be in the position they are, many don't. Some type of reform is needed, however those who make the right choices both insured and uninsured should not have their level of care impacted by the lowest common denominator. I'm no fan of insurance compaines, I'm fighting with one now. But, I'm REALLY not a fan of the govt. running my health care.     Yep, Let's take care down to the lowest common denominator. Everyone should suffer equally, and there really should'nt be montary reward for all that school and hard work. Do you work in the PD's office? Are the bulk of your hours pro bono? I doubt it. If you do work in the PD's office cudo's to ya, and if the bulk of your hours are pro bono then I stand corrected.     The tea-party movement will continue to grow. As long as it stays on message and continues to be grass-roots. I've missed everyone locally because I've had to work.     I with ya man, I just have cautious optimism. I'd hate to see over-confidence overcome common sense. And yes, I am one of those right wing looney Tea-Party dudes.     I wouldn't gloat, this wasn't a big endorsement of the Republican party. It's more a move to the center right. You didn't see Brown glad-handing the repub big wigs. With that said he ran a smart race and the dems screwed up. Hopefully this will be a trend, common sense people who are sick of career politicians running for office.
