  1. Okay man I'm sorry, you are angry and you have no sense of humor. Although that is funny, you are a man of many talents, occupations, life experiences, I bow in your general direction. Now that is really funny, you crack me up man! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  2. I feel great about them!! You are an angry, angry, man...... "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  3. Good point! You win (for once) "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  4. They make a great breakfast on Sunday, as long as you give 5 bucks........ "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  5. Stressed, liberal college professor was left out as well.... Is that self induced stress? If you're not first, your last........... Ricky Bobby "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  6. http://www.cnbc.com/id/36715336?__source=yahoo&par=yahoo Another sign the unions are taking over, the firefighters union thugs were obviously behind this stat. The foundation savers are the most stressed, pllleeassse........eat 'til you're sleepy.........sleep 'till your're hungry. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  7. Having been on the other side of that on many levels, there were many lawyers that thought that about me and others, they were wrong every time. With that said, I do have issues with the reach of this bill. The only question is where to draw the line, I guess we'll be doing that in the court and on the streets for a while. Something has to be done about illegal immigration, I'm just not sure exactly what it is. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  8. It's all Bush's fault!!!!! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  9. It's happened to me many times, my usual response is just to laugh at the person, that normally takes the wind out of their sails. If it's done as a direct challenge to enflame a situation I'm attempting to control, then it's normally a trip to jail for disorderly conduct. My favorite response (only done it twice) is to give it back. Example: I'm going to get something to eat in neighboring town at 3am, shirtless redneck drunk staggering down the sidewalk turns around and gives me the double barrel bird. As I drive by I give him the double barrel back, when I looked in the rear view mirror the look on the guys face was priceless. His shoulders sagged and he kept walking looking very disappointed and dejected. I drove on to get my burger, not the most professional thing to do, but it was just me and him, no one else was around. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  10. Me likey pizza according to the map and my waist line. I likey guns too, never saw much point in strip clubs, too much money and you end up taking both your hands home. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  11. Facts do suck, if this goverment doesn't stop spending money it doesn't have, I won't have one to fall back on either. I make no apologies for working hard my entire adult life (sometimes at great personal risk) to get my "government largese" as you call it. I helped pay my own salary and now I pay taxes on it as well. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  12. Does that really deserve an answer? When you can't debate with civility, insult, that always works. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  13. Please Mark, Don't confuse people with facts and reason, war is ugly, i think we all agree on that. As I've said, the fact we use ROE's is telling enough, along with the expense and employment of precision guided weapons and systems. But to some we are still just cold blooded murderers, I don't think anyone or any set of facts is going to change the minds of some. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  14. And your point is? I was concerned about debt in the 80's and 90's, it was one of Clinton's platform planks. Clinton tried the hard left turn the first two years, the 94 election changed that, he then reduced the debt with a republican congress. Obama has politicians from his own party jumping on swords left and right. I agree GWB increased the debt, Obama has DOUBLED it in ONE year, while revenues are declining. That is unsustainable, period. The "well, he did" argument doesn't hold water, there should be a wake-up call in Nov. and I don't care which party they come from. Free markets, fiscal responsibility, and limited government is what I care about, not party affiliation When you saw RAY GUN, you sound like the lead singer in a bad 80's punk band. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  15. Considering what the national debt was ( which APPALLED me at the time of about 800 Billion) under Carter... My father is a JFK Democrat, he's been in the investment business for over 40yrs. He says we are in uncharted territory. He is optomistic but makes no predictions. Reagan ran a debt while the economy grew, Obama is spending record amounts while revenues are declining. Reagan policies greated growth, like it or not, tax cuts increase revenue. The current policies will in the long haul prevent growth, thus prolonging the economic downturn. The rich will duck, the poor will continue to endure on someone else's money, and the middle class with continue to take it in the 'nads. My current tax return reflects that, I define the middle class ( a retired cop and retail manager) and we took it in the shorts. When you call Reagan, Ray Gun.........you lose all credibility, Like it or not, he turned around a major downturn. We are in that now minus inflation and sky high interest rates. Just wait, the worst is yet to come. With that said, Bill Clinton, minus his personal issues, knew how to govern and play politics to survive. That is one thing my father and I agree on, Obama does not, and many of his policies are just scary. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  16. All fine and dandy, goverment spending spitting numbers that look like growth. Interest rates and energy prices starting to creep, debt at record levels, and large tax increases on the horizon. Now take into considetation the amount of money printed and the tide of inflation thats going to have to burn that money up. Yep things are just peachy, this mess is going to make Nixon and Carter look like economic giants. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  17. My point exactly, our enemies have no problem intentionally targeting women, children or ANYONE that does not agree with them. The American military puts itself at much greater risk by merely using ROE's. If these pilots were the beasts you make them out to be, they would have just rolled in and killed everyone, they certainly had the means to do so. Instead they followed the ROE's. An Apache gunship is not a quite machine, there had been ground combat in the immediate area the same day. If the journalists were in the area of a gunship, with armed individuals (AK's AND RPG's) then they were legitimate targets as presented to the pilots. The comments of the pilots were in poor taste however, they are attack helicopter pilots, their job is to attack and destroy targets. There is not a "nice" way to do that. Given the information at the time, they were doing the job they were trained to do. The decisions made have consequences, the crew will have to live with that, as posted in an earlier reply. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  18. The true agenda of this post rears it's ugly head. No one here wants to kill children, nor did the two pilots. The only people I know of who openly stated (and have intentionally) wanted to kill children are our enemies, radical islamic terrorists. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  19. +1 People who make overt threats to elected officials SHOULD be arrested and charged. I don't buy the "string of threats", there are nuts on both sides, if they cross the line I say hammer them. This is no indictment of the tea-party folks, just a individual who crossed the line and will pay for it. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  20. Just like uber-aggressive swooping, fun to watch but it only takes once.............. I ride a Vmax, I get screwed with by young crotchrocket riding peeps all the time. They normally have no idea I'm a middle aged guy with three kids. The aggressive riding on crowded highways in urban areas is just stupid and gives us all a bad name. With that said, on a long straight street with no traffic, these tools have no idea they are messing with a middle aged man on a 15yr old 140hp bike... "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  21. No way, I blame Gearge Bush!!!! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  22. +1 "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  23. Matt and Kevin, Both great guys!! Lucky enough to have jumped with both, Mr. PR and a rocket scientist....I love skydiving! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  24. When we had our "team" (two cops, the Flyin' PIGS") we did our demos for cost. We did jumps for non-profits and small local airshows. They paid our insurance and for our jump platform. We had written parameters for our demos. We never pushed those parameters to do a jump. I was lucky to have trained with a military team, they taught me that a demo is NOT a normal skydive. Once we got into it I was able to procure a full demo rig (Startrac II, reserve and container) for free from a sponsor. Unfortunately Sept. 11th kinda did in our team. I had several military committments over the following years and my partner and I quit jumping. I still have the gear and hope to start again someday. Demos can be done pro-bono as long as it's for a good cause and the jumper(s) have the right mindset. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
  25. WTF? Are your meds out of whack? You DEFINE the word TROLL. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
