Another thing I had looked at was the Columbia River flow reversal... Himmelsbach noted it.. and a report suggests it can go as far as Sauvie Island.. no idea if it could move money 8 miles though.
-
You can't compare the NORJAK witness environment to Ridgway.. That final Cooper sketch is closest, not exact but close.

This is getting silly.. Now people are claiming the Palmer report is wrong because TBAR would have eroded.. well good reasoning if you don't know the facts. TBAR erosion isn't linear. TBAR and the Fazio property is mile marker 97.1.. In 1976/77 200,000 cu/yds was deposited at mile 97.3 just upstream of TBAR. It was an erosion mitigation project. Dumping 200,00 cu/yds on the shore just upstream of TBAR would have added sediment to TBAR... In fact, this is one of my top TBAR theories, that the money may have come from this operation, worked loose and landed on TBAR. Claiming erosion is a linear constant is a false premise.

Sheridan Peterson photo 1966. Cooper was roundly described as swarthy/latin/Mexican/Native Indian in appearance and complexion. Hair was normal, parted on left combed back, also curly/wavy/marcelled. Suspects run the spectrum from ridiculous to interesting to potential, though Peterson isn't the very worst fit for Cooper, he is well down the list at the weak end. Other than his impressive skydiving skills there is no case.. Eric is good at selling/promoting his Sheridan narrative but take a serious look beyond the curtain of hype and there is nothing there. It is just a woven narrative of innuendo, speculation and distortions of the evidence. Classic goal seeking. The best sketch of Cooper..

Right,, To support the false Sheridan Peterson as Cooper narrative, Eric must: Change the flight path to have him land near TBAR, and Have the money buried right after the hijacking. There is no evidence for either of these and substantial evidence against no matter how much Eric spins it. The case for Sheridan Peterson being Cooper is extremely weak, built on speculation, poor logic, ignoring/distorting evidence and confirmation bias. He was in Nepal, doesn't match the profile or the physical description. All you really have is a skilled skydiver.

Eric Ulis wrote.. "Finally, we now know that Palmer's identified "clay layer" was not the 1974 dredge. Rather, it is a natural layer that runs the length of the beach. In other words, the money did not arrive after 1974. In fact, the money arrived almost immediately after the skyjacking and rotted away--rubber bands in tact--for 8 years." The Palmer report says the opposite, this is complete nonsense, it is absolutely clear in the report. Why is Eric using the Palmer report to make a counterfactual claim? The money was found in the top layer which contained "fresh" debri... it wasn't there for eight years. "he (Palmer) still felt the money was not at the site for more than a year. At the height found, the money was definitely de-posited more than four years after the dredging of the Columbia River in 1974. He also added that he felt certain that the money did not work its way up through the post dredging sand to the upper layer." "These layers consisted of an upper sand layer, a post dredging sand layer, a clay lump (dredge) sand layer, and below that an older sand layer. The upper layer con-sisted of six inches to eight inches of reworked beach sand and is the sand which contained the fragments and bundles of the recovered money. This sand also contained soda pop cans and other debris, which were not severely damaged or rusted. The post dredging sand contained older soda pop cans, rusted nails and spikes, and other rusted artifacts, which were in a much more deteriorated condition. The clay lump (dredge) sand was a mix-ture of course sand and fragments of organic clay material, ranging from one inch to five inches in size. Based on u.s. Corps of Engineering records which reflect that they dredged the Columbia River at this site in 1974" "during his work at the site and areas surrounding the site, that the clay lump (dredged) sand ranging from a depth of approximately four feet, 25 yards from the money site, to only two feet where the money was found."

Georger can't find FBI FOIA #43.. never trust anything from such a inept sleuth. For everyone else. Here. https://vault.fbi.gov/D-B-Cooper /d.b.-cooper-part-43-of-43/view

First thing I do is OCR any new FBI file, there is now far too much info to keep track of.. Stick them all in one folder and easily search for relevant info..
-
Yes, the details for the chute Cooper took are "fuzzy" but the found one had a tag "US Air Force" and appeared to be a drag chute.
-
Money found in top 6-8 inches sand layer which also contained "fresh" debri. Lower layer contained old/rusted debri. That indicates the money was deposited recently.. consistent with being discarded by somebody into the Columbia in the late 70's.. "The upper layer con-sisted of six inches to eight inches of reworked beach sand and is the sand which contained the fragments and bundles of the recovered money. This sand also contained soda pop cans and other debris, which were not severely damaged or rusted. The post dredging sand contained older soda pop cans, rusted nails and spikes, and other rusted artifacts, which were in a much more deteriorated condition."

Parachute not Cooper's..

FBI money analysis.. deposited by river. no further evidence found..

Dredge, doesn't look likely..
-
Palmer FBI interview/summary.. likely deposited 2-3 months prior to last water rise

This FBI doc confirms my previous posts... Cooper offered the tip from his pocket after the ransom was on board, change from his drink hours earlier. He offered the change from a $20 to ALL the stews... after he offered ransom money to Tina and she claimed to have refused it citing the no gratuity policy... Let's get this, Tina returned the ransom money she asked for telling Cooper of the no gratuity policy. Cooper later offered a gratuity from his pocket change to all the stews. It has also been reported that Cooper also offered ransom money to the other stews just before they left but they refused. This makes no sense. Cooper offers all three stews pocket change after receiving the $200,000 ransom and being told of a no gratuity policy. Somebody is lying.. either. All the stews. Unlikely all three can maintain a lie.. Tina. Likely. She may have kept some and discarded it when she resided just upstream of TBAR in the late 70's. After the money was found she went into hiding... The FBI. Possible, they are obfuscating to withhold evidence that only Cooper knew. Cooper was such a gentleman.... nonsense.

"probably a catholic with Mexican or Indian blood" "not an experienced skydiver and probably received his jump training in the military" "UNSUB was familiar with the Seattle area, as indicated by his comments concerning the plane's location as it flew over Tacoma, Washington."
-
Approximately 8:09... Just figure out where the plane was at 8:09/10 and the wind... The FDR was in the aft stairway, could the airstair banging closed cause a "bob" on FDR??
-
No idea what you are trying to say.. the light has nothing to do with Cooper's demand and is out of context. The red airstair light indicates unlocked condition.
-
Smith's daughter does not in any way contradict the fact that Cooper initially demanded airstairs lowered after takeoff. She is claiming they argued about airstairs down on takeoff, that was LATER.... read the document I posted. It is all consistent. The only ambiguity is in some of the FBI summaries, they don't distinguish between the initial and later demands. This is simple and yet very important. It means that Cooper's initial plan was NOT to jump ASAP and his LZ was ad hoc after Reno was in play.
-
Cooper's initial demand was airstairs lowered after takeoff. LATER,, Airstairs lowered (unlocked) before takeoff came up after RENO negotiations... This seems subtle but is very important... Cooper's original demand was NOT airstairs lowered on takeoff.. this is also confirmed by transcripts. It was the change to land in RENO that initiated Cooper to alter his demand to airstairs partially extended on takeoff. That suggests his initial plan was altered by the change to Reno.. He did not initially intend to jump ASAP as would be suggested by airstairs down on takeoff. Cooper's jump plan was changed by the negotiated Reno landing.

Flo said that she wouldn't be able to ID Cooper in photos five years after the hijacking.. Does anybody actually think Tina or Bill could 45+ years later..

More context for Robert Gregory's FBI statement.. Gregory described Cooper's hair.. "Hair itself should be marcelled and hair style of President Nixon is quite similar to what UNSUB had. Hair should be slicked down as characters wore in old George Raft movies." Hahneman's hair was curly/marcelled parted on left and sometimes slicked back.. he had a swarthy complexion and Latin features. Hahneman's mother was Honduran and father a German with American citizenship but his complexion was documented as dark. Swarthy Germans were called "Black Dutch"... George Raft/ Hahneman / Nixon

"Cooper Royalty" is Robert's term but it exists in function.. I disagree with one point, they do attack each other.. There are people who try to control and own the Cooper narrative by subversive means. They go beyond mere disagreement, to varying degrees they employ lies, disinformation, personal attacks, double standards, disrespectful and dismissive attitudes. "Cooper Royalty" can collude or fight amongst themselves for control. This is a very common internet thing, either people can't argue their position with facts, logic and reason or they are ignorant of the facts and resort to toxic tactics to win. These people desire to control the narrative over advancing the case. The perpetrators usually have nothing new to contribute. This is beyond normal disagreement... which is part of healthy debate. I have been in contact with many Cooper people who agree. The "politics" in the Cooper case are a distraction.

Boeing 727M tested in 1965 including air drops.

Something I didn't notice before.. Cooper had a cheap briefcase that appeared new, probably purchased recently.
