Image with contrast and brightness adjusted,, NO OPTIONAL EMERGENCY RELEASE PANEL.. Only that optional emergency system has a pull red handle operation. The normal one uses the lever and is a push operation,, that proves the Hicks Placard did not come from inside NORJAK.
-
Tina said "what looked like dynamite they were strapped together with electricians tape".. she didn't say the tape was red.

The Dower film is here,, The FBI said they looked but couldn't find the cigarette butts,, their own doc says they destroyed them in Reno.. Here is the rear stairwell and panel from Norjak.. at Reno. As I suspected, the placard was not from inside NORJAK.. NO OPTIONAL EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM.. (pull red handle) (zoom in on enlarged image, no optional emergency door) The "emergency" release was in the handle for the inside (push red lever) You can see the "normal" placards on the panel door. The hicks placard did NOT come from inside Norjak. Hicks placard BUSTED. To compare, another 727-100 stair control panel door.. with the optional emergency next to it and placards on the main panel door.

Almost every file mentions Eugene.. hard to pin down There was no timestamp on the gas receipt. The date wasn't precise because of the worker shift and change over of date for the date stamp. The connection to the Vegas Tropicana Hotel was a collect call to McCoy's residence. They couldn't confirm it was McCoy. small news.. Identified another TBAR Cooper bill serial number from video in the History Channel show.. I have a DB of all the bills given to Cooper in and have Id'd about 80 from TBAR.. G21056376B
-
These guys are stubborn, Georger has been wrong for ten years now, a packet is a group of 100 bills, rubber banded or bank strapped or both. Robert99, a single packet (100 bills) is 1/2" thick, 3 packets is only 1 1/2" thick and could fit in a pocket. IMO, it wasn't put in Cooper's pocket. The bundles were randomized, the number of packets per rubber banded bundle. The TBAR money was in order. It was given to Cooper in random sized bundles of packets. Perhaps 3, 4 or 5 packets per bundle. How does the money end up in order and packets separated but together... IT WAS ALL ONE BUNDLE WHEN IT LANDED ON TBAR.
-
I get that somebody could have tossed the money but I can't get past the idea that the money was meant to be found.. it was a one in a million find. If it was discarded it was never meant to be found.

Tom K found that 79.6 ft of parachute was missing, though if clear how much Cooper took with him. Vietnam parachute jungle landing rope trick.. Maybe, Cooper wanted the xtra chutes for the cord.

Bundles and packets and packets and bundles... Oh my. For a long time I thought the money could have only arrived on TBAR in some type of container for the three packets to be found close together.. wrong. Until I looked for the rubber band evidence,, there isn't any other than there were rubber band frags stuck to the packets which crumbled away when touched. They were NOT intact. Also, the money was given to Cooper in packets of 100 bills rubber banded into individual bundles. Those bundles had a random number of packets. So,,, if the three packets were rubber banded together into bundles as they were when given to Cooper, how did they get separated before landing on TBAR... easiest answer that fits the evidence.. They didn't, the three packets were most likely rubber banded into a single bundle and landed on TBAR as ONE single bundle (FBI). As the rubber bands holding the bundle (of 3 packets) together deteriorated the three packets separated. There is no evidence that the three packets arrived on TBAR individually but together.

The History channel show had some TBAR find footage that I hadn't seen before.. The distance from the Columbia River waterline to the find is about 35 feet,, 40 tops. The slope is 10%. That means the money was 3.5 - 4 ft above the River. You don't need a flood event for the River to reach the money find spot. The claim that ONLY the '72 and '74 flood reached the money spot is false. A high tide or boat wake would reach that spot. This is consistent with reports at the time that the money was found along the high water mark.

FBI file #35 page 293 "did not resemble" "eliminated" I have read that some suspects were eliminated then "un" eliminated... So, eliminated was never definite.

WOW, what a plot twist.. Tom is not Sheridan's daughters father. The show was entertaining, I have to give Ulis credit for pulling it off. The Sheridan is Cooper narrative is nonsense and wasn't fully vetted on either side. More of an entertainment show than factual and investigative but that is the nature of these things. Funny thing, I contacted Tom Kaye back in March and asked him if he could get DNA off the sticky tabs he had from the tie.. turns out he used the vacuumed particles,, So, are the sticky tabs still a viable source for DNA??? Is there still hope.
-
It played at 6 PM PST here,,
-
Saw a clip of Ulis for the upcoming TV show.. He uses the FBI claim possibly brown eyes to suggest that may include blue eyes as Sheridan has blue eyes. That is a misread of the FBI info.. The FBI files often say "dark eyes" and "probably brown or black" or "possibly brown". Eyes were dark, possibly brown, that doesn't include blue. He also says,, he hasn't found evidence that Sheridan smoked.. we know Cooper smoked and this indicates a long term smoker.

Georger inaccurately attributed NickyB's speculation to me on Shutter's... You should correct it.

Did you even read FBI file #52.. Lots of stuff on KC.. in 2004 well after the Lyle letters. Looks like personal interviews and some investigating.

Yes, L'affaire Minos was published in the TINTIN magazine series.. even harder to explain exposure than the the Dan Cooper comic. I don't think it is relevant to Cooper. "Objectif Jumbo" takes place in and around Seattle. Weinberg's MO is to travel to a location, take pictures and build a story to be produced later. I believe Weinberg was in the PNW around 1962-63 doing the groundwork for that story. He even visits Boeing. He was also in Florida a few years later for another story. Weinberg was well connected in military and aviation and got access to locations and equipment.. Did he cross paths somewhere with Cooper?? I don't know. I also found that Dan Cooper was published in Mexico, in Spanish for Latin America. Herge, the publisher has a connection to the IGY as does Hahneman. I don't think Cooper was inspired by the Dan Cooper comics or a single image. He might have been aware of it and used the name but there is no evidence for it.

Don't remember any video,, might be stills from the video out there.. Dennis Farina season 2 episode 5

DNA testing done on the tie and the ticket can only exclude. Info on condition of money as given to Cooper is being held back Lots on Kenneth Christiansen in 2004,, (no evidence - FBI) just claim of suspicion by (Lyle?) Barb Dayton stuff
