I completely disagree, the first thing I do when I jump a new canopy is (abover 3500ft for me) and trash it, absolutely to the point of freefalling, it opened the first time, it will open the second time. I think if you don't know what your canopy will feel like and know how to react to it. Just my point of view, but I don't jump at 4.0 to 1, so what would I know. -

Actually, tons of women are uptight about their sexuality and don't do anything about it, I find the ones that can please themselves, also know how to let themselves be pleased. Way different then the girl that can't even say masterbate. ~Chachi

Also, if you have a great grass landing area try just putting your feet in front of you and turf surfing, great when you lose bottom end but listen to JP also, try flaring longer and resisting putting your feet down. Downwind at 40 jumps, perfect. hehe ~Chachi

we have general guidelines already in place to assist people in making smart choices. but straight up, have you read every makers panel or warning on every single piece of skydiving gear that says even when using this equipment the way it was designed there is a chance of injury or death? come one, i have no intereest in some American governing body like the FAA running my life. If you fuck up in this sport you can die and kill others, that is the reality. if you seriously have more felt worse pain than joy in this sport maybe you shouldn't be doing it. those people you watched at least died doing what they loved and would not want you to feel that way, instead probably would have prefered you celibrate their life.

I think as a community we need to begin to be a little more respectful of people coming here and asking legitimate questions. Towerrat came here and asked some questions and when he was given non sarcastic good information he thanked the sources and respected that information. When he was given some plainly mean responses and reacted in kind. Then he is berrated for responding exactly how he was talked to. COme on guys, remember what your mom's taught you, if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all, because I don't want you guys to be the spoksman of our sport with the attitude. No wonder people see us as criminals and jackasses. Nothing in mr. towerrats posts asked for answers like he was given. Read through it again and check it out. Just an idea. ~Chachi PS, if you are going plan to berrate me for thinking we should be more respedctful of people don't bother, I won't be coming back here to argue with anyone.

Well, I had not planned yet to name names, but, someone that had a BASE bf, and bought gear from Basic Research, and had vent covers and fifth brake lines put on would know if they were buying used or new. BR told me the canopy was sold as used. Anyway.... ~Chachi

What do you guys think about people that lie about the gear they are selling. Here's the thing. I buy this Flik from a girl in eastern US that said she bought this canopy and rig brand new but never started to BASE. ex bf was an ex PRes or something like that. She sends it hear and you can tell it has jumps for sure, a little blood stain on the corner and then I discover a fucking patch on a cell. So i send her and email asking why she misrepresented herself, I would have bought the canopy, might have paid a little less. SHe sends email back saying Basic Research told her it was new. I call BR they say no, definately new it was used, actually was a vented Fox, then she had 5th brake line and valve covers put in. Do you think karma will just take care of this? ~chachi
