Well, you should land out if it is in a safe spot so that the guy that just paid $85.00 can have a shot of himself landing. I am not saying in an area that you feel uncomfortable in, but landing beside your video guy I think is the job of the TM. ~Chachi

I would do a search in this forum on the topic, I am sure you will find a ton. General concensus is around 200 jumps. That usually means that flying should be close to second nature when you add all of the distractions. You should be able to comfortable fly easy and well in any situaltion that you intend to video. Also ensure to go and get some local mentoring. buying beer for camera guys and pumping em for info is usually a good way. Have a camera flyer look at your camera helmet and point out odditioes or potential problems and all of the safety concerns that you should be aware of. Just a little info for you. SEARCH THIS FORUM for more. ~Chachi

Don't like hockey, or beer? Please move south, we do not want you breeding in Canada. Can you imagine, a bunch of kids running around the schools telling people not to watch hockey? Terrible. ~Chachi

Photoshop is the best way to do this. Create an image that says PROOF, or your copyright information and and then create another layer and place the proof overtop, then you just need to vary the opacity of the word to make sure it is clear but so is the picture. I always vary it, you can make one that is almost clear but I always like to adjust the level to match the picture. ~Chachi

PC LOAD LETTER??!!!!! What the FUCK does PC LOAD LETTER stand for, sometimes I just want to .... You should ask him if he would mind shutting his gaping cake hole so that you can get some work done. Tell him if he doesn't everytime you walk by him he should be worried you will stick something not so nice in his mouth. ~Chachi

Problem with adjusting your camera angle up is trying to get good and steep over a 4way now is going to be near impossible. You will have to sit back giving you a less steep view of the formation. You should try to set up your camera helmet to shoot all disciplines and not change it around. ~Chachi

Give her a chance to earn it back, saying no to something so big and sticking to it is right, I would think as it teaches the lesson Giving someone a second chance to do something good also teaches something, compassion. ~Rob

WOOHOO< welcome almost to Vancouver, I am chachi your personal tour guide on this little adventure and I will try to answer all of your questions. Skydiving - Skydiving in Vancouver is the pops. We have almost year round jumping. Obviously due to rain we have a lot of non jumping days here, and we usually jump cessna's in the winter. We have a wicked fast King Air at the dz closest to Vancouver, Pitt Meadows. Here is the link Pacific SKydivers . We also have two other dropzones in a very close drive also, Abbottsford, and Fraser Valley Skydive. Abbottsford has a Porter, fun place to hang and Fraser Valley in CHilliwack is a cessna DZ but super fun place to hang. Jumps around here will average you around $28.00CA - $30.00 ranging from 10,000 out of Cessnas, to 12,500 in the bigger planes. You need to become a CSPA member I believe, RSL/Cypress are not mandatory off student status. Skiiing - WHOA, boarding / skiing here rocks. Part of Vancouver itself are 3 ski mountains on the Nrth SHore jsut above all of the houses. These are about 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver approx to the base. Whistler / Blackcomb = 1 hour away and then we have many, many, many other ski hills super close. Car, big mistake, you are not allowed to import a vehicle from US to Canada that is newer than I believe 10 - 12 years old. There may be some transfering clauses or something like that but buying a car in the states and trying to import it inot Canada is near impossible. This is what I have been told by car dealers as I was thinking of purchasing that Lotus in ayear or so but that is apparantly impossible. Fell free to PM me for my phone number if you would like to call me sometime to chat about life in Vancouver and if you need any assistance in getting here I would be happy to help out. ~Rob

I watch every opening and the space around me, I also have my hands on the risers as soon as it is humanly possible. I have consitent on heading opening but feel it is better to police the weird ones with rear riser input if necessary. ~Chachi
