I get paid by taxpayer funds, and I pay taxes. I'd guess their employees do, but no Government entity pays taxes.

Bo, Unless things have changed drastically since I left Chicago (1999), I still feel a bit iffy riding the El in some areas, much less walking in some neighborhoods. For example, on the South Side, with the exception of ther areas near Midway/Univ of Chicago, I usually try to leave before dark. While I know Fuhrer Daley would never let it happen, I'd feel much safer being able to carry a pistol in Chicago.

Best meal was a Steak and Eggs breakfast I had after returning home from Basic training. 2nd Best was the beer I hid in my jumpsuit and drank on the way down under canopy on my last jump in Florida.

...Just saw it for the first time since High School. Excellent movie. I prefer watching it without the english subtitles, as they don't exactly translate 100% accurately, or so I ascertained. Rent it, along with Once Upon A Time in Mexico. Desperado is okay as well, but the 1st and 3rd films are excellent. As I said, rent it.
