With the exception of the National Low-Pull record, I can't think of any record that compromises safety. Skydiving records are accomplished by the effort and teamwork of many experienced persons. We aren't talking about the Guiness Record for ear-hair length. The use of an unaware tandem passenger would not work, so the whole poll is a non-question. -
I'm all for letting them go too. right where they're captured. Tie their hands behind their backs and let them go. Get it on video and send it to the web and the networks so these clowns can see what awaits them. We could give them to the Kenyans. The Kenyans could hold them for ransom until their pirate buddies paid up. The pirates chase, catch, but do not board a ship. Then, NATO chases, catches, and releases the pirates. Baseball is a sport in which it is perfectly acceptable to adjust your package in front of a live television audience. That is the only logical explanation for a sport that consists of butt-patting and spitting.

The only thing worse than the meatless wings is that nasty, greasy "fish". It is called the "groupers cousin" sandwich. If you ask for a "grouper sandwich", they will quickly correct you with "you mean our groupers cousin sandwich". If you ask what type of fish is in the sandwich, you just hear "cod, white fish". So, it is the same as McD's or any fast food place - except it is greasy and slimy. There is no other description but slimy.

I would say that it is a bad idea because the world has lost a sense of privacy and intimacy. If two people have a private conversation, then someone always "texts" their closest 34 friends and discusses the content of their lives. Every verbal conflict becomes 3gig of electrons. I don't see any "personal life" for people. I seriously doubt that I would want to put those types of thoughts on paper because they would probably be shared within minutes.

Around here, it's mainly middle-aged guys who are paying for a 22yo to talk to them. The food sucks.

There was a recent ban on license plates overseas that had USA because of security issues. This thread is the moral equivalent of the "does this jumpsuit make my ass look fat?" question. If someone asks you for your opinion, and then you honestly answer them, why do they get so mad? I keep waiting for a heartfelt "thank you" for our guidance and support. (Perhaps a "thank-you beer" is in order.)

To be fair, I can't say that it was unwarranted for me, because I have been a dick, of late. We do want them to get back together. Think about it... dating other people means the problem has doubled.

Who else watched this video and noted that the Admiral stated the captain gave the order to fire based on a standing order. Now my question is: How long has this standing order existed? A few days? Months? Years? I wonder who would have given the order if things had not came out so well? "...acting on his own initiative, gave the order to..." Right now, there's a congressman in Iowa giving a speech, "...some months back my committe was instrumental in defining a framework for the Piracy Initiative..."

It wasn't the years, it was the mileage. The Honda cars have a 100,000 mile warranty. Seems like you couldn't exceed that 6" at a time.

Ummm...no. What airplane? I am currently blaming my "rampant anxiety" on those Wall Street wizards who abused my 401K. This has been the ongoing problem. People with theories who try to conform the event to their picture. It would be nice to have one fact that related to the event. We could discuss a fact. Instead, it is weeks of scrolling through tinfoil-hat alien-abduction sasquatch theories. "I know this guy named Bob who had a hat. DBC wore a hat..." I haven't seen anything approaching a tenuous speculation in value. If there are other clues, I fear that we will never hear of them until the final dot is connected.

The Canadian hotel chains have established some business relations there. That is their choice. At this point, I am sure that Castro would like the US tourism business that goes to the Bahamas. It's just business. There are people who lost everything. I can understand the bitterness. I'd be miffed about it too. Band leader Desi Arnaz - his mothers family owned part of Bacardi Rum and his father was mayor. His father was imprisoned and was released. With events like that in a persons life, I can understand how "just get over it" wouldn't work.
