  1. The main problem seems to be a difference in ethics. During her election, people with ethics pointed out her weekly lies and blatant use of racism in her campaign. She lies. She has always lied. She has a history of it. It is the major theme of her life. During her campaign, there were so many SC threads about the different lies that they had to be consolidated. People without ethics seem to be ok with her lies. I don't think that she can tell the difference any more.
  2. Way too f-in funny. A classic episode. While they are trying to escape, they decide to take a used couch onto the spaceship. It gets stuck in door on the ramp and Peter has to stand on the ramp during takeoff, while they are under fire. Those guys are wizards.
  3. Attractive women determine the type of a movie. In a chick flick, she will accomplish one or both of the following: - Through use of her looks, she will eventually get the really attractive beach bum to give her the Perfect Relationship while he becomes astonishingly rich. - Work through all her issues with her mother. (example, Steel Magnolias) (Remember, Pretty Woman was not a documentary ) In a guy flick, in the first 4 minutes of the movie, she will provide the GBS. The Gratuitous Breast Shot has no bearing on the plot, but rivets the male viewers attention for the following 20 minutes with the hope that she will expose them again. (example, the opening 2 minutes of Lethal Weapon) Sex, violence, and humor are the hallmarks of great movies. Blazing Saddles or Flesh Gordon.
  4. So, they found out you were a skydiver and put you in a sales position?
  5. That was the worst nice that I've ever seen. Giving him a pass because he's overwhelmed isn't exactly what you would want from a job reference at your next interview. "He wasn't able to accomplish any of his goals because he was a little over his head."

    Rumors

Sometimes, I can be persuasive. Remember the reaction of the clerk when I told her you were leaving the hospital on a motorcycle? It worked too well. Then we couldn't convince her that it really was a skydiving injury.

  8. Bad pain is not normal. It sounds like you have something more than a normal problem. I was given some good advice. I don't think it will help you, but it is worth mentioning. A friend told me to drop my knees a little, so that my thighs act as shock-absorbers.
  9. Unfortunately? During the Bush admin, there have been occurrences that are pointed to as facts. People discuss them. Unfortunately, the O admin can't be discussed. Avoidance at its finest. Even when the thread is specifically about Obama. Example: "Why won't O release the FOI information as he promised? Just sign a paper." "Bush wiretapped first." "Ummm... yeah, so what? That has nothing to do with the failure of Obama to follow through on what he promised." "...shiny things... Bush..." Obama is refusing to do what Bush refused to do. So, why aren't the DEMs up in arms about it? Most of it is as easy as a signature. "Clinton - the best president that Osama ever had."
  10. nuclear beauties The tinks dat peoples come up wit.
  11. Worse? When a dog licks its butt and then licks the owners face - and then the owner can't understand why their face smells like dog-poo. ... or the owner wants you to kiss their face. I once farted and when it left the plane, the ATC tracked it for 10 minutes until it landed and created a crop circle. (true story)

    Rumors

They were probably exaggerating. Someone has been spreading the rumor that all the women are crazy about me. So far, no one believes me.
  13. Yes, and amazingly you don't seem to grasp the topic at all. The topic is not what Bush did. The topic is what Obama is not doing (anything that he promised in his campaign). Not "how we got here", but what Obama "promised" to do about it. Obama is not doing anything that he promised in his campaign. That is the discussion. Regardless of the source of the wiretaps, he promised to release the information. (FOI requests are being rejected) If Bush keeping it secret is wrong, then Obama keeping it secret is wrong. Regardless of the legitimacy of the torture photos. Obama promised to release them. Now he won't. Bush wanted to keep Gtmo open. Leading DEM, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called Gtmo "humane". Other leading DEMs want a planned strategy (Barbara Boxer and Dick Durbin for example). Obama is doing exactly what Bush did. Why aren't the DEMs complaining about it? They're not. In fact, they are insisting.
  14. Irish foreplay... "Ready, Bridgette?!"

    Dork Zone

Because somebody may be too f-in serious. I used to read other internet skydiving discussion sites. The most frequent cause of their demise was someone who was "TFS". Someone had been in the sport for so long that they couldn't remember the primary goal - to have fun. Everything was serious and "an issue". Everything was an argument. Sure, safety is serious. But, basically, skydiving is supposed to be fun. I believe that the actual future of the sport is people sitting around a bonfire with their friends. Smiling while they talk about something that they did today. Foolish online antics are probably preferable to the thickening of mud around sticks. Even online. Hi ht, Funny you should mention that about "FUN!!" A few cases of beer ago there was an interview with Jerry Bird in "Skydiving" mag. The question: "Jerry, how would you describe 'Skydiving?'" The answer:" Skydiving is Having Fun In Freefall With Your Friends." There was more to the interview but that's the part that stuck out the most to me!! Before RW became a competitive event we called it Fun Jumping and we were Fun Jumpers! The "Serious Jumpers" were the Style and Accuracy freaks. Three weeks ago, I was talking with Bird about planning some interesting, fun, and challenging skydives for some events. I was talking about 10 or 20-way speed. He said that he once closed the last corner on a star during 40-way speed. 28 seconds. He has told me about a lot of his competitions, but the thing that stands out the most is how much he smiles when he tells you.

  17. ...after mentioning that a date is falling down drunk and hanging all over a stranger... "You are too controlling for me, I'm just independent. I like to meet people." It's all in the definition.
  18. Ummm... no. You apparently didn't read what I wrote. There are things that he promised, and he can do with the stroke of a pen, and he refuses to do. We are not talking about difficult or time-consuming tasks. He made a promise. With the stroke of a pen, he can release the information as he promised. Nope. Gtmo is perfect. There is no rational reason for moving the prisoners from one good prison to another in the US. Rational people know that. The DEM leadership acknowledges that. His promise was just campaign BS. Releasing the photos is a bad idea? ...b-b-but... that is what Bush was criticized for saying. Now O is saying it and you are saying it. But when Bush refused to release the photos, it was bad, right? The problem lies in this, O promised to release them. With the stroke of a pen, they are released. He refuses. Just to be clear - The objection is this - he made campaign promises that were clearly poor ideas. Now he is backing off doing even the simplest of them, even though most of them are just a signature to make happen. Was your pet a bunny? Was he lost on that bunny trail?
  19. I've been single for quite a while and I enjoy it. However, everyone talks about this as a problem so much that now I think I have a problem. Rats.
  20. Nobody gets to define a limitation on what topics are "off limits". He can be "dinged on" any topic where he fails to deliver or, in most of the cases, turns 180. There are two types of things that are occurring. Things that he cannot do anything about, in a quick fashion. (Like the economy) Things that he has complete control over, but refuses to do. ("Transparency". He promised to change Gtmo, wiretapping, release torture photos.... ad nauseum) So, what has he actually done? Made promises during his campaign that are easily done, but he refuses to follow through on. Gtmo. There is no magic there. There is no difficult reason why he cannot follow through on his campaign promise except... - it was all campaign BS from the beginning. - a 90-6 vote -his own party will not support him because reasonable people who act with common sense do not want them in the US. - the DEMs never believed it was a good idea. (Don't worry, nobody was expecting the truth. Falsehood is the only party platform that they really have.) He could just say, "release the photos as I promised to the ACLU". He could just say, "release the wiretap information as I promised". What is he being "dinged on" ? Making BS campaign promises to get elected and then not following through on them. There are some that he has complete, immediate control over. The amazing part is that when Bush did it, it was bad. Now that O is doing it, it is good because he has "secret" reasons. Oh wait... people "dinged" Bush for doing things with secret reasons, but it was called bad then. So, once again, O duplicates Bush.
  21. clicky Ruh-roh. During the O campaign, I always wanted to discuss facts and issues. Voting records and accomplishments. In response, I heard Saturday Night Live snippets and stupid smarmy phrases. Now, satire is reversing its direction. Never a good sign. The honeymoon is over. Of course, the satire is merely stating what has been posted in SC for 2 months or so.
  22. Not a problem. I always fall back on the inter-gender skill (and lie). Like most guys, I am always complementary. (Nobody wants to lose their turn in the rotation for convenience sex.) There is an unfortunate side effect of men giving a raving review. Women believe that they have special skills that other women do not have. It should be clear to women who own male dogs. Sometimes, they are just busily humping their leg.
  23. Oh... nevermind. I thought that said, "squid pro quo" and they were going to offer to pay the bill for the calimari this time.
  24. Events have pushed things to an entirely new level. The SOS has move from merely characterizing NKs actions as "reckless" and "non-smiling" to that of "dangerous" and "egregious". This adjective-brinksmanship has given strengthened the search for new and stronger words that will threaten the NKs. This new level of adjectives may force the administration to advance an offer of aid again. With the acceptance of money, the NK govt will agree to not do what they plan to do anyway. (This is based on their past strict adherence to stuff written on stacks of paper with official-sounding names).
  25. Sure. Sometimes, my imagination fails me and I can't come up with anyone better looking so that I can finish.
