...when you are so lazy that you buy one of these.

The biggest idiots are the ones that think that they are outsourcing "the others". At Verizon, the managers would say, "We are part of a global organization." The manager walks in and says, "Gee... we are really looking someone with an MBA. Do you have one?" "No, but I've been doing this job for 12 years." "Sorry, we have to stay competitive." They outsource a part of the team. Then, the rest. Then, their manager walks in and say, "Gee... we are really looking someone with an MBA. Do you have one?" "No, but I've been doing this job for 12 years." ...and the manager is surprised that they have outsourced their own job. You don't need a project manager if their is no project. I saw it at another company last year. The manager was "part of the global team" until they moved the project overseas. What an idiot.

clicky Our local fishing bridge... Sea kittens ? Sure... almost exactly the same.

I'll go with that - x-cept Michelle is hotter. ...I was thinking the same thing. Not flattering. CC looks kinda worn out.

The attached pic is of a sticker on a vending machine at work. If the pic isn't too clear... Thoughts ? I was thinking of giving them a call. Theoretical conversation... "Hello, I am calling to tell you that our vending machine does not have a sticker on it." "What sticker?" "The one required by law. It says to call this number. The sticker is missing." ...another productive day at work.

Clinton vows new US support for Somalia
happythoughts replied to happythoughts's topic in Speakers Corner
news So, she is providing military supplies and other aid. Also, she is supporting a non-Somali African force that is aiding Somalia. These types are using foreign money and fighters. ...and down that slippery slope of avoidance. -
I remember when Clinton played the sax on tv. I'm surprised he doesn't have a Youtube video of his trip.

HT - Christopher Walken That guy can do anything. My current favorite actor is Edward Norton.

Do healthcare policies have maximum limits ? Like... "Maximum benefit is 80% of the first $300K of covered expenses...". Some legalese like that? If you hit the limit, is it just "Sorry..." ?

[Austin Powers voice]Asian twins... check[/AP] Most of the time, stuff like this is handled by diplomats of the country involved. news Employees of Al Gore ? No strings pulled there.

My last two funerals were skydiving friends. The last one was nice because there wasn't a ceremony as much as a celebration of their life. People just walked up front and said something nice about the person. I always figured that a nice wake-style type of event would be nice for my funeral. A food and drinks party. It disturbed me that my ex-wife had a date set for it though.

If you are going to sit with them for hours, play some cards. They'll never catch you cheating.

The Ugly Racism of the Right Will Be Their Undoing
happythoughts replied to dreamdancer's topic in Speakers Corner
Hillary Clinton ? Or Bill Clinton? The Bill Clinton race-baiting during the campaign that grew to such a point that the Dem party felt he was damaging Hillary's campaign. North Carolina, Mississippi... Of course, these are just the thoughts of the Dem party leadership... -
A buddy had his g/f give him the "me or skydiving because you'll die" speech. We threw a dummy in my buddy's gear off the roof. Then, stretched him out on the ground and packed his rig with him in it. Then, we rode to altitude and tossed him out. Later, he sent her the video. "See? I'll keep skydiving even after I'm dead." (The relationship was probably irretrievable before that anyway.)

Wait... you have to be dead to be an organ donor? Well, that puts a new complexion on this.

No way. We're gonna sit you down in a chair next to the pool table at the Crystal and wait for some drunk chick to dance with you.

You mean, like, if they had social skills? Geez... I get crap all the time from my friends. Too much cologne, home interior stuff, hair style. I'm a work-in-friggin-progress for people. If I smelled bad , it would be an opportunity to abuse me. I wouldn't last a minute. Acceptable place to be smelly? The dz in Florida in August - everyone is sweaty by 9am. Everyone must put out 3 gallons of sweat by 2pm. I can just see one of those CSI guys checking out my suit. From everyone either taking grips or a quick hug on the way by, I'm a walking DNA collection point.

You just need... the Bat-computer.

I'm thinking that bug-zappers would seem less amusing afterwards.

The weirder people are the ones that seem to ignore totally bad ideas. Two months ago, a local person broke into his g/f's house, beat her up, stole her car (with her child in it), tossed the kid out of the moving vehicle later... blah, blah... charges too numerous to list. His new g/f, that he met in jail (however you do that), spoke to the press about what a nice person he is, and the wonderful family/relationship advice that he gave her. Huh? When Ted Bundy (former serial woman-killer) was in jail, women would write him love letters. I mean... what??? It makes my brain explode... The only thing crazier than crazy people are the people who like them. Oh, and Pops... I can so get a date if I want one.

clicky You always see tv ads advertising "feminine protection". Is this what they mean?

Sushi... I'll bet it has that fishy smell.

I was watching Batman on tv tonight. There was all these people trying to figure out the Joker's formula that was killing people. Batman did it in an hour and saved the day. Good thing that Batman is still out there providing information to the public.
