  1. One is on Ebay right now (see photo) "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  2. First two digits read: "10(slash) . . ." You had previously said all real gold must be registered? Maybe that's the registration number? I dont know - just work here - bastards wont even pay me! . BTW you do good work! Seems to me those numbers would match up with some manufacturer ... in style, letter type, code , etc. Quantico probably has 10000 Gigs on tie clasps alone? Plated jewelry does not have to be stamped because there is little gold percentage on it, many companies do stamp them plated (10 ktp or 10kt gf gold filled) the problems I see is the location of the stamp and possibly light or flash disruption, you can see the light or flash on the top of the tie where the piece lines up with the tie, again only a hunch. If indeed numbers are there, yes I could almost say without a doubt that someone would remember the stamp! I spoke with Tom yesterday (PM wise) I think I asked him if any marks were on it, I'll check. right back at ya, on good work on your end as well I only asked Tom if a gold test was done on it, nothing about markings....way ta go Dave Here. Two lines of symbols. Second line obscured by tie. Top row first symbol is a "period" followed by a "1" followed by a slashed-0, followed by a symbol (doesnt look like a numeral of letter ??? Hominid as good eyes and might read more. These are not light reflections, flash reflections, but actual symbols stamped into the artifact ... it looks very convincing, but it seems they would have wrote this into the clip description instead of Gold in color? let's hope we can get confirmation on this I'm going on Ebay and buying this sucker "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 4. Im not suggesting Towncraft made/supllied the tie clasp to Penny's, only that Penny's may have sold this tie clasp supplied by some other middle man. Cooper may have obtained the tie and the clasp from the same source, at the same time. Is it correct your findings show the clasp is not 18k gold and no identifying markings on the FBI's clasp? What then are the numbers on the clasp about? I think you misunderstood me Georger, I was just showing what I found out about Penny's so far, that's why I mentioned Towncraft and Weiss, as for Cooper's piece, It is documented as Gold in color, there is no way to check the piece unless you have it in your hands, I am going to look again at your photo's but I think maybe that is the reflection of the material on the clip, I am not sure but, it appears that way? possibly Tom has this answer? I am hoping as well that Cooper went on a shopping spree at Penny's, has anyone looked at there rain gear? That's the bad thing about this clip, it was made in several different metals. Tom did PM me saying he thought it was plated, but I am going by the what I read about the piece, this is why in the video I say, it appears to not be plated or Gold filled. If numbers are indeed on the piece, we can trace it!! Keep in mind that this clip is very small, the width would be about 3/16 to 1/4 so putting a stamp in it would be a task! most have the stamp or mark on the back side of the clip "visible" but not while wearing it. You think I made this up? Have a look and read the numbers for yourself! Maybe Tom will comment ? The photos are of the clasp on the Cooper tie at FBI HQ. Guess Tom or Carol did the photog.. ? I am not saying that at all Georger? I didn't discount anything you have researched, I simply made a comment that I thought it could be a reflection, most number and marks are made on the largest part they can stamp, this is why I suggested it might be a reflection, when a piece this small is stamped, they generally take a horizontal approach to the longest part of the piece, I hope I'm wrong and numbers are on it! I don't want you to get the wrong impression of what I am saying, I value your opinion far more than others! 5. Ok, while Cooper was on the plane they noted him to being in his 50's, later statements discount that and go as young as in his 30's, the description of him is all over the board, why am I in bold letters "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 9. Bob, your story is very similar to Marla's story among others, you have all of the answers but nothing to back it up! Marla is certain Lynn Doyle Cooper was Dan Cooper, Bob Knoss is 100% Duane Weber is Dan Cooper. I am not following Robert, he thinks it's possible KC could be Dan Cooper, big difference! 10. Stupid question. If the tie came from Penny's did Penny's also sell these tie clasps, made by who? Have you talked to Penny's (Dallas) ? well, not a stupid question but, from this stand point I found that Towncraft made some jewelry but don't know if they had that clip, Penny's bought Jewelry from Weiss among others I'm sure, so, from this stand point I was not able to link the clip to Penny's this clip was a very popular clip, to be manufactured for that long of a period makes it very tough to track back to respective manufacture's. The other problem is the fact that someone could have been the lead manufacture and not marking the piece and selling it out wholesale, remember back in the day you would see the name of the company on a tag attached to the jewelry. I emailed several people on Ebay and some from different sites where the clip was for sale and none of them had any markings what so ever! very frustrating to find out from every responce! The company Art Crest has split off into 5 or 6 different names over the years all the way back from 1948, including the sales of jewelry boxes! many of the smaller Jewelry stores could have bought boxes and that clip and sold them with there tag on the piece. I went as far as to checking the U.S. Patent website on the companies and tried to find a trademark or Patent on the piece, Anson has Patents on several tie clips but, but not this one! a very large percentage of Anson's business was to Tiffany's back in this time period. I am open to any other options that we can check one could also assume Cooper was single (living alone) the clip was bent, maybe Cooper would take the tie off and throw it on the floor in the bedroom after a long day stepping on it at one point? who knows "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  11. Anson was in Rhode Island, actually many jewelry manufacturing companies are from that area, and distributed out of Utah they are C&J jewelry company now, same place "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 12. Thanks, I saw all of the errors and will change, I'll be adding more info on the conpanies I mentioned and credit Citizen Sleuths.com for the pics used. I always have a habit of "alot" vs a lot the final cut will be in HD format. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 13. Tie clip vid. I put my video up on You Tube, this is only a test video, I still have things to change and add and give credit to photo's used etc and put into HD format http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5a_qSBqIYM "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 14. I'll have to check but, It was my understanding that the money came from several banks, not sure though. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  15. we could go on another year perhaps with BK, but as you said, it's not worth the hassle, anyway I will be up loading my findings on the tie clip, I'm putting it onto video to help explain it better might have it online in a couple hours "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  16. If this plan started in 68, why would they have to rush in order to get the money? seems this part would have been taken care of weeks or months ahead of time? If you ask me, I think getting $200,000 and four chutes in matter of hours was pretty good, just trying to be "accurate" like yourself If you want the truth, come to THE source. Ha-ha-ha! ???? strange statement Again, who is caretakeral? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 17. Since we are doing a spelling bee, "On the Federal Marshall's badge of Richard Floyd McCoy, Jr., that's how." Marshal is spelled with one L not two, you should know this from being an insider! 19. The Liar's Club, nobody is lying on this side? cross examining is not lying. I walked into this bar a Pepsi drinker......don't say that out loud in a biker bar! I didn't wish to be the guest speaker......You may be excused! I am not a member of this club......This is not a club, it's a form where evidence can be presented or discussed (enter some at anytime) My boots don't fit, my feet hurt......Get new boots! I just wanted to use the facility to unload.....You have unloaded enough, your "pipeline" has bursted! 21. Dairy farming is a class of agricultural, or an animal husbandry, enterprise, for long-term production of milk, usually from dairy cows but also from goats and sheep, which may be either processed on-site or transported to a dairy factory for processing and eventual retail sale. Huge difference between the farms! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 22. Yes but like Charlie Sheen, you are not "winning" "95% believe to be my friend McCoy" ?? Ok, since you don't know who your friends really are, what percentage is your story now? Gobelty-Gook, mrshutter. You drinking? You missed the quote. "I...believe..." Need to go back to school. Thought we were doing so well. Charlie won, in my book. It's not my story. It is the truth. I try to tell the truth, but I don't know everything. I can only tell what I know first hand, or what Mac, "Dan" or the other guy told me. Doesn't sound like much, but I believe it 100%. Accuracy? I'll wait and see. Nobody is perfect, but some try. I have recently spoken to a man I 95% believe to be my friend McCoy, I believe, 95%??? anyway you cook it, it's not done! perhaps you missed Jay Leno when Charlie admitted he was "loosing" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfQj-uiBhXI I like Charlie too, but that was a big mistake "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.'
