  1. The last women on the video said it best. To paraphrase..."I don't doubt that she's probably remembering them being involved in something - whether or not it was this (DB) though.... I need a little more more hard evidence" yep! I was hoping while watching the video and the dates were popping up that someone would have caught the birth issue! but they didn't "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  2. You must have too much time on your hands. What a waste. I could have let you know ahead of time, Huckleberry. There are over 2000 kooks like her out there with similar fables to spin for a buck or a picture in the paper. BTK: "How many people do I have to kill to get my name in the paper?" Preemption: (BTK was not Bob T. Knoss) possibly! and this makes your "kooky" story #2001! "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  3. It was Marla, via her Facebook page, the first week of August, 2011. I have the screenshot images. If you do a search on this thread using her name, you will find those images. I presented them months ago, and sent copies to 377. If you want to see them, I will have to do it via the main office computer tomorrow. Until then, there's always the cartoons....
  4. or just ask him for the serial numbers? "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  5. Well first I wanted to make a "Dave's not here" joke, but what the hell - maybe I'm just gullible. So.. If you really have some old twenties that were found while hunting near Yacolt, WA, and you want to find out if they might be part of DB's loot, there is a list of the numbers on the FBI site in pdf files and/or...you can try this.. http://www.check-six.com/lib/DBCooperLoot.htm ....supposedly a DB Cooper money search. Can't attest to the accuracy of it cause I've never tested it, but there it is for what it's worth. Good luck! I tried it a couple times using the numbers from the FBI files.....no match "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  6. NOBODY with the real name COOPER was involved even remotely with the COOPER hijacking. DAN COOPER was a comic book pilot character from Canadian comics. This is beyond the pale, er puke pail. Get serious. (get serious) Seems that question has been presented to you many times over! I have an old toilet in my back yard with a sign on it "Bob Knoss Files" when you open the lid, there is a bunch of crap in it! I have brought valid points to a story that Bruce is following up on an would appreciate no further remarks from you! Thank You "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  7. well, once again we have issues! we now have Lynn born in 1931,32 and now 33? the last two dates make more sense because then you would have incorrect dates on Dewey as well, looks like he was much younger than originally thought, and unfortunately looks like the head stone is also incorrect! If Dewey's birth is correct you really can't accept Lynn's date of 30 days after Dewey was born under any circumstances! this now makes him way to young to fit the profile of D.B.Cooper! The big question now is......how much of this does the FBI know? his Military records indicate a discharge date of 4/22/55, if you subtract 4 years which would be 1951. this puts him at the age of 18, and would show his birth to be in 1933 "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  8. ok, well then ask her to explain Dewey Max Cooper born 8/11/31 vs Lynn 9/17/31? I do have a copy of his death cert, but now do I have incorrect information on a second Cooper? something is still wrong somewhere? If she is going on record as to having dyslexia, this will open more doors rather than closing them on many of her statements given! Thanks for following up on this Bruce. Dewey Max COOPER Birth Date: 11 Aug 1931 Death Date: May 1985 Social Security Number: 541-34-**** State or Territory Where Number Was Issued: Oregon Death Residence Localities ZIP Code: 97305 Localities: Brooks, Marion, Oregon Salem, Marion, Oregon Death Benefit Localities Zip Code: 97305 Localities: Brooks, Marion, Oregon Salem, Marion, Oregon 43. Oregon Death Index, Name: Cooper, Dewey Max County: Multnomah Death Date: 12 May 1985 Certificate: 85-08767 Age: 53 Birth Date: 11 Aug 1931 Spouse: Janet . She has said on record that Dewey was older, so, what birth dates are correct in this matter? If Lynn is younger as she stated in the past, then he must have been younger than 40 in 1971? 9. Well, my understanding is that Marla tried to contact the FBI and they didn't listen to her, then she had a friend who was a retired cop by the name of Arden Dorney help her? then I read the Los Angeles Times and they stated this. August 01,2011 "The FBI's recent tip in the case was first reported by the Telegraph newspaper in London, a testament to the story's international appeal." http://articles.latimes.com/2011/aug/01/nation/la-naw-db-cooper-fbi-dead-man-20110801 I must have read 50 different websites/stories and videos on Marla's story and none of them were the same! she has said different things on different interviews, the articles were incorrect on dates etc etc. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  10. She had to know this would happen. A story like hers doesnt sit untouched. I agree, she opened the Family up by accusing two of her Uncles, then you have the mother trying to back up Marla! questions and credibility will come into play. "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  11. Marla was quoted saying that he landed in a six mile area 7 miles from his home, she did not say Sisters! Lynn lived in Eugene/Roseville Calif and Reno Nevada and also mentioned she was not sure if he was living at Grannies house, Reno and Eugene were in the flight path I believe? I found the house where he died....see attachment "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' No matter what you tell them, they refuse to believe you" Agent Carr FBI
  12. Robert, I don't know why you keep going there. How many hours do you think Marla talked to the FBI? Her polygraph alone was over 5 hours, so 50 hours total seems like a reasonable guess. The FBI is trained to look for inconsistencies and discrepancies. They have direct interviews -- not the accounts of others. As far as big royalty checks go, you, as much as anyone, know DB Cooper books are not the way to riches. The things that bother me with Marla's story is the birth issues between Lynn and Dewey, the birth records show them born only 30 days apart? but, Marla Cooper told ABC her uncle was a Korean War veteran, and according to a public records search a Lynn D. Cooper, who was born Sept. 17, 1931, joined the Navy and served in Korea. He died on April 30, 1999 and was buried in Bend, Ore. Other records show a Lynn Doyle Cooper with the same date of death but 1932 birth date buried in the same cemetery. These records also indicate that he was born in Shellknob, Mo, this would make him 39 in 1971. Nevada public records, show that an Oklahoma resident named Lynn Doyle Cooper, married a woman from Nebraska in October 1973 in Nevada. Due to the discrepancies of the public records, it's not clear that the man buried in Oregon is the same as the man who married in Nevada or that either are connected to Marla Cooper, The next problem I had with Marla was the correction she gave Nolan Clay on the spelling of Dewey by spelling it Dewie? this coming from someone who has researched her Family for over a year? 15. All I ever heard was that he would reveal it in 2012. I think it's pretty obvious who is is going to say it is, but I'm still interested to hear his take. I usually enjoy his posts. are you referring to this dan Gryder? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knJH2uoFwc8&list=UUJHAQ9u9jYutXJQUmzxC-Dw&index=5&feature=plcp looks like he his trying to use the story that is in the FBI files about a guy claiming to be DB Cooper to a news reporter in the article he stated he had a Beretta concealed in case a passenger or crew member got out of hand, when I questioned him about it, he blocked me! Could be who he is talking about. I assumed McCoy because of the simulated gun and the fact that McCoy used a fake gun to break out of prison. I've never heard about the one you're talking about here, but that could be Dan's guy. I don't think McCoy was Cooper, but I have always found him to be intriguing as a suspect. Hopefully we will hear from Dan soon. here is where he might have got his idea, http://www.fbi-most-wanted.com/dbcooper.php look at file D.B.Cooper 4 "It is surprising how aggressive people get, once they latch onto their suspect and say, 'Hey, he's our guy.' 19. Facts never stopped a Cooperlite (aka Tyrannosaur Poop) from making a cone head (aka point). Geoff Gray makes that point, in his official Cooperlite with handles on it. Example/fact: ShotterMG only has 46 posts but has made some very valuable contributions to the Dropzone thread titled: ASSHOLES. To each his own Cooperlite. Vestile Virgins here excluded, of course! we could get out of this rut and start a new topic.....where is Marla and her two uncles born 30 days apart?
