  2. This is so true! At my home DZ I initiate 90% of my swoops by just using visual references. But when I get to another DZ, I'm all messed up. It takes me several jumps to get dialed in and find myself having to use my leg mounted altimeter to cross reference these new visual cues much more often. Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  3. SWEET... yeah, you definitely have BAD MOTHERFUCKER written all over that car. My ride's pretty sweet, but I still wouldn't want to race you. See ya this weekend at the DZ...supposed to be a gorgeous weekend! Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  4. HAHAHA.... Maybe I shouldn't have cropped out where my hand was.... Thanks for the laugh... I'm sure Angela will get a kick out of this post! Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  5. Somehow you remember Angela and not me! How hetero of you. Yeah, I was there...wearing the same S&M shirt as Ian. I was busy leaving bite marks on a couple of girl's butts. Maybe that's why Mel nick-named me Bitey Cupid. Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  6. No worries... I'm sure we'll meet up again soon. I know we're already making plans for the Halloween Boogie in Atlanta. Ever make it down to FL? I live in Orlando. Oh, I almost forgot, Friday nite when you and your girl came by the Registration Tent, I didn't recognize you two without the S&M gear we were wearing at Sebastian. Angela bet me it was you, but I insisted it wasn't. So she asked to bet the keys to my Porsche, and I did! Yeah, she was right! LOL We'll have to make a couple jumps in between the costume parties! Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  7. Hi! You can place any main, with any reserve and we'll make you a great looking container to fit them! As far as the measuring the only measurement that is somewhat different from other Harness/Container systems is that the "C" measurement (from top of of sternum/base of neck to top of hip). You need to measure with a slight bend or droop in your measuring tape, so it's not a straight line from the nape of your neck to top of hip bone, but rather a curved line. PM me if you have any other questions or need more detailed instructions on how to measure, or if you'd like to place an order for one. Cheers, --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  8. Hi Amanduh, In the 9+ years I've spent in the sport I've jumped Dolphin, Javelin, Jav Odyssey, Vector II, Vector III, Talon II, Quasar, Eclipse, Racer, Mirage, Atom Legend, and Wings. After I jumped a friend's Wings, I loved it so much that I became a dealer for them! In my experience (and my opinion), you cannot beat the quality, comfort, workmanship, and price of the Wings container. Their custumer service is awesome and their delivery time is ridiculous. Right now it's at 6 to 8 weeks...with most closer to the 6 week mark. PM me if you want to know more details... I'm not sure if we got a chance to meet at Dublin, but I was the guy who had the cut-away/reserve ride last load of the day Saturday flying the Birdman Suit (with my trusty Wings H/C system). LOL... or you may remember me form the bonfire Sat nite as the guy wearing the string of shamrocks wrapped around my chest and arms, no shirt. . Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  9. ... Yeah, you're one of the people I thanked on my spinning malfunction post in the Wingsuit Forum. Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  10. I don't know, Phree... seems like there's a demand for this video! LOL... Besides, it'll be strictly for educational purposes! The rig I was jumping was a Wings with the "Birdman" Modifications (or Wingsuit Mods, to be politically correct). Risers were the standard (longest) risers they come with (I believe they're 22 inches long). In speaking with Ankie at Sunrise Manufacturing, she informed me that they are currently changing the way the riser inserts are tacked on to the risers. From what I understand, their current method of attaching the riser insert to the cable channel would allow the riser insert to come free from the riser in case of riser trauma, such as my spinning line-twist malfunction. They are sending me new inserts... I'll let you know what they physically look like, since I hadn't looked at them or noted specifically how they were tacked on originally. I'm a dealer for Wings, so there's quite a few of them running around my DZ. I'll make note of how the riser inserts are currently tacked onto the risers, and how it differs from the way they're attached on my 2nd rig's risers (Xaos-27 93 is on Mirage Risers); I'll post what I see on this thread. Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  11. BEER!!! After 9.5 years in the sport, and on my 1606th jump, I finally had my first cutaway. There have been 2 other times where I probably should have, but I was able to clear or resolve the malfunction in time to land. However, this time was different, this one was getting chopped. Scenario: 10-way sunset flocking at Dublin boogie. Lessons learned: 1. Don't follow through with deployment if on a slight fish-tail when reaching back for the hackey. 2. Velocity 90, although it's never given me a hint of a problem before (50 to 70 wingsuit jumps), is not the most "docile" canopy to be jumping with my Skyflyer. I usually jump a Xaos-27 93 with my wingsuit, but didn't bring it with me for the boogie... not that that's a much better choice. 3. Don't hesitate for a second, pulling the LQRS when I felt it spin up. That slight hesitation gave my canopy enough time to build up speed and momentum, as I was facing the sky and my canopy was screaming towards the ground. 4. Riser inserts are my friend. My risers were twisted, and even with the riser inserts, I had stronger cut-away forces than I expected. Come to find out, my cutting away also ripped the riser inserts out of my risers, as they were no longer on the risers when I went to hook my main back up. My thanks go out to: God for GRAVITY. But also for giving me the clear mind to not panic, check my altimeter, and take the necessary steps to resolve my problem. PhreeZone (Eric), who followed me to landing, having his own spectacular landing along the way.and for helping me look for my canopy as soon as we landed. StwbryPi (Angela), who helped me clean my cut-away cables just 2 weeks ago! She saw the whole thing unfolding, from deployment to reserve ride, and followed my cut-away canopy (even though it meant landing in BFE). She then trekked it back to the packing area, jumped in her SUV and tried to find the canopy before it was too dark. She definitely rawks! Dublin local who found my freebag, and subsequently, my Velo 90, within minutes of my getting back to the packing area. Crutch (Art) for packing up my reserve and having my rig ready to go the next morning. Jumpingbean001 (Tammy) for telling me I needed a more docile canopy (before, and after this jump) and for taking Angela up on her first Wingsuit jump. She absolutely loved it! LoudDan for being the meat missile we were all chasing on this memorable flocking dive. Juan Arango for running to get the beer for me to give to the local when she showed up with my PC and Freebag and also for helping me look for my main. SkyMonkeyOne(Chuck) for the Tempo 120...it worked! Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  12. LOL.... but I have your landing on VIDEO! However, I must agree with you on the LQRS...I may have been able to kick out of the line twists, and avoid a cut-away, had I pulled the LQRS immediately after my Velo 90 spun up, and before things started accelerating. BTW, thanks again for following me down to make sure I was OK.. The flare on my Tempo 120 didn't produce any better of a landing....maybe just a few less cartwheels in the mud. Thanks for getting those 2 flocking dives together, Phree, they rocked! Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  13. I have to pinch myself and, when necessary, spank her, to make sure I'm not dreaming. She is real, and quite enchanting... I find her more and more fascinating every day. We had an awesome time at Dublin...we didn't get back to our Hotel room 'til 3:30am Sat/Sun morning. I'll post my thanks in that thread within the next couple of days. Hope to see everyone there next year... Cheers! --Jairo (pronounced like Hi-row) :^) Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!

  20. Hey Mel! Gumby Cupid and I are definitely going to this one as well. Actually, most everyone from our DZ is comming up. That'd be sweet if you and jJ get to go to this one as well! Let him know that the Williston Crew will be there in full force! I know Angela will go nuts when I tell her you guys are thinking about going to Dublin. ...besides, I never did bite you. Oh well, I'm sure Angela will try to beat me to it. Cheers! --Jairo Edited to add: SkyMonkeyOne: Are you coming to this one? Katie's still waiting for her 2-way Bird-Man rodeo! Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  21. Chuck! Missed ya at the Naughty Cupid Boogie! I think I may have filled the void you left by not coming in the drinking department! Hope to see you and Katie again soon! I'll be at the Dublin boogie in March. Anyway, I got a chance to check out quite a few Ouragan Suits pretty close over the weekend at Sebastion, and, by far, these are the best looking freefly suits I have ever seen! Although I am perfectly happy with my Tony FreeFly Suit, I'm gonna have to order one of Nancy's suits in the very near future. I had seen Nancy around before, but never gotten a chance to meet her. But it seems that the quality and attention to detail on these suits would make it worth the wait for one. Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  22. You must be talking about Angela. Yeah, I her flexibility! You should see the tricks she can do with her tongue! One of my many drunken quotes included, "I'll finish off this vodka!" Yeah, that one finished me off as well . Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  23. Hey Jared! Just saw your post. Have you gotten a chance to talk to any of the FG's about your interests? If you're coming out to the DZ this weekend, I'll talk to you about how we put together a team a few years back when I was President of the FG's. It won't be easy, and it will be quite frustrating at times. But if you can get another 4 or 5 people (you'll definitely need alternates) that are willing to put in the time, $$, and dedication, you'll be better prepared to compete at next year's Collegiate Nationals. Cheers, --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  24. Damn this was a fun weekend! My liver is still recovering from the damage I put on it Saturday night! For those of you who were there, I'm sure you'll be back next year... for those that couldn't make it, start planning now. Cincy, I'm sure the bite marks on your butt will eventually fade !KatieBear, it's always a party when you're around. Now tell the old man he needs to come next year! There was a cool vibe all weekend, and the party Saturday night rocked. It wasn't cold with all the warm, scantily-clad hotties, and alcohol! Thanks to all the PMS Hotties that made this possible and to the staff of Skydive Sebastian! Angela (the asian hottie with way too much flexibility, huge smile, and sexxy costume)is out developing the film from Sat. nite. Mel and jJ left my place in Orlando at 7:30 this am, so they'll be home soon and getting their pics up. It was very cool to see old friend and make some new ones. For now, it's back to the real world...this day's gonna be rough! Cheers! --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
  25. I jump a Velo 90 and a Xaos 27 93. I both of them...don't know if I'd be able to choose one over the other. --Jairo Low Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
